Core 51 Drag Star
I didn't say a word about it breaking.... I like alloy better... I will pay to have it .. It's what I want... As far as diawa... Seems a lot of company's use some form of polymer technology or carbon in different ways.... Before long I will order a couple carbon fiber handles....but I have not ever trashed a diawa reel or owner.... And I am a shimano fanboy. Peace & out......

Curado G Or Curado I
While pitching a 5" senko into the wind... With serious gust to 25 mph I was still getting 60' Curado I is so far a amazing reel..initial setting 2 brakes on... Adjustment dial at 1 ... 3 maybe 4 loose coils... Bumped adjustment dial from 1 to 3 no more loose coils... It's a long distance caster too.... 3/4 oz on heavy 7'6" loomis I was able to get 200 feet over and over and over. It's casting ability competes head to head with my CTE200GT... So far.. I really love this reel. Center clutch is super nice... You get a lot of reel at 179.99 No bb flush either... I won't even bother till warranty expires. I will be looking for a lefty before long!

Favorite Non - Braid Line For Flippin / Pitching ?
Yo-Zuri Hybrd 20# then cxx-strong 20 or 25 While I simply don't rely on florocarbon lines seaguar makes a good one.. Tryed red label didn't care for it. However, it's ok in soft cover situations

Why Does Everyone Hate Graphite Side Plates?
Snookalot....0119 you are right... Mitch.... You are right Fishing for small fish as in LMB,as in money on the line, getting the bass in quickly, is very important . I learned very long ago to pump and reel down.... I then learned how to water ski a bigmouth in.. I only fish for joy and I apply my way of doing it when I need or want to. Big fish ? It's just my instinct to pump and reel.. Smaller species is most often quickly cranked in for me. I just don't see a point in pump and reel on a 2 pound largemouth... But I choose how I fight the fish !
