  1. Wordle 924 6/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜🟩🟨 ⬜🟨🟨🟩⬜ ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟨🟨⬜🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Almost got me today. Connections Puzzle #202 🟨🟨🟨🟨 🟪🟪🟪🟪 🟦🟦🟦🟦 🟩🟩🟩🟩 Didnt know you could copy and paste results. I’ve been typing them out 🤦🏻‍♂️
  2. Little Christmas Bass Pro gift card action. Baby Bull Shad and a Strike King Tour Grade double willow spinnerbait. Only 3 months until April…
  3. Same here in upstate NY. It’s been 45-50 degrees and rainy every single day with no snow in the 2 week forecast as of now. With how bad we got thumped the last few winters, I think we deserve a mild one this year 🤞🏻
  4. @Munkin nice! When you posted the other day I was really hoping something would change and allow you to complete the challenge. Well done.
  5. A jig is one of my go to baits, but this year I threw it even more than normal.
  6. I used a walking bait a lot less this year than in the past. Usually they’re a seasonal bait (spring and fall), but I opted for a popper over a walker for topwater even early and late in the season. Barely threw a lipless this year either. Hard to put down the spinnerbait when I’m targeting middle of the water column.

  9. @JackstrawIII I fish in upstate NY as well, and I’ve only caught about a half dozen pike in the last 2 years. That number is way lower than the previous 10 years or so. I used to catch several dozen or more per season. I’m definitely concerned about the pike population around here.
  10. I zig and zag and I dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge jet skiiers.
  11. I live in the foothills of the Adirondacks, which means I have over 3000 lakes and ponds to choose from, and thousands of miles of rivers, streams, creeks, and brooks, all within 3 hours of my driveway. My list of places I want to try is endless.
  12. @Peacedivision its a white, right? Tops on my bucket-list for sure
  13. @Peacedivision nice sturgeon!
  14. At least you didn’t end the year with a skunk! And that’s some nice looking water you’re fishing. That’s always a consolation prize. Your water doesn’t freeze, does it? I imagine you won’t have to wait long to get after em in the new year. Every winter I have half a mind to load the boat up and head south of the Mason-Dixon to do some bassin before April. The Tennessee river is always on my radar for that.
  15. Doesn’t look like much but a foggy field, but this is one of the properties my girlfriend and I are scouting as a possible build location. About 10 acres of field and woodland, and there is a little bog on the back end of the property. We’re both very excited even though we’re in the beginning stages.

  17. Merry Christmas to all my fellow BR folks.
  18. Merry Christmas, y’all
  19. @12poundbass I would eat that entire thing and the container it’s in.
  20. @LrgmouthShad I keep trying to get into stouts but I just can’t. Stouts and sours are the only kind of beer I can’t get into. But I used to feel the same way about IPAs and now they’re my favorite. @softwateronly I like the way you think
  21. What kind of beer should I drink today? An IPA? Something festive like a Christmas lager? Maybe a coldsnap? Or keep it classic with a Modelo Especial?
  22. Wordle 12/25 ⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️🟩 ⬜️⬜️🟩⬜️⬜️ ⬜️⬜️🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Connections #197 This was a ridiculous connections. Never even heard of the word for blue. 🟨🟨🟨🟨 🟪🟪🟪🟪 🟩🟦🟦🟦 🟦🟩🟩🟩 🟦🟦🟦🟩 🟦🟩🟦🟦 @JackstrawIII man how on earth did you get a perfect score? I usually get perfect on connections but this one made zero sense to me. The blue group I’ve never even heard of.
  23. NYS is all about the trout and salmon as well. I get it, we do have a wild, native strain of brook trout that are direct descendants of the fish that inhabited the Adirondack lakes that were created 10,000 years ago by glacier melt. The streams and lakes that hold these fish are often C&R and artificial fly only. We also have some isolated populations of Atlantic salmon and wild Kokanee that enjoy strict regulations. But the bass regulations are a little wacky, even though some do exist. Not the right ones, if you ask me.
  24. Got this thing primed and ready. No action to speak of yet though, and nothing in the 2 week forecast. Of course that could change at any time, but I’m enjoying the lack of snow and ice for now.
  25. @ike8120 thanks! I’ll check them out!
