I was reading that the ghost guides have been a problem and that some reels won't set right with the handle? Anyone else read that? I've seen post about the rage where they have snapped but there are so many variables to that I don't see an issuse. The argument on China and Mexico I guess it's a flip of the coin I think. I have had stuff made all over the world and even USA have some sort of failure. I'm leaning towards the Rage, unless there is another rod that can compete at that 100$ range.

Thanks for the replies. I have a micro majic from duckett and I like it but I'm not stuck on one brand. For a 150 dollar rod for less than 100 it might be good gamble .

Like the title says I'm looking at one of these rods in 6'6-7' for cranking and jerkbait fishing. I have the opportunity to get the rage under a hundred and I didn't know if the ghost was in comparison. Thanks

Fish it all...... If possible. If you have a yak use it if it's a little large to walk around.

Agree ^^^^^ Spinning combo. I think wal mart and or mejier has the presidents combos on sale for like 79.99. For that you have room for line and maybe a few lures. Not going to be the best combo in the world but it will get you started.

Power pro 30pounds or 50, spool some mono on first then finish the spool off with power pro. That's my opinion. Suffix is another good braid braid too.

I haven't "fished" on but I have cast one before and it wasn't that bad really. I know someone else with more experience with them will chime in. But, I would try one if it's cheap enough.

Well, Walmarts in my area do not carry assault rifles or pistols. They do carry long guns, ex: ar15, shotguns, hunting rifles. Gun control hurts the wrong people, to outsiders who think that america is full of gangbangers bc you can just go buy a gun any where is wrong. Is it easy to buy a gun legally short answer yes. My understanding is if your 18 a legal US resident and do NOT have any confections or felonys you can buy a long rifle or shotgun, you must be a clean US resident and 21 to buy a legal handgun. Now can you go buy a assult rifle yes but it's not as easy. And they are really expensive and come with a tax stamp. Look at Chicago for gun control, one of the harshest gun laws but the crime and death from guns is high. It's a broken law that people think if we have gun laws that killings will just stop. People kill people for wrong reasons.

Pflueger vote here. I have the trion 20 and it is a pretty good little reel. I believe mine came with an extra spool. It's smooth and has enough power for most of the fish you will likely to run into.

Thanks that's what I have read about the turning the nozzle upside down. Is there a way to take them off and clean them off? I think I read some where were they vacuumed the vents? Sorry for all the questions, thanks for answers.

Seeing that you both owned the same type, I have looked on the web to try to find out what the 2 metal caps??? are next to the fuel caps are? If your looking at the fuel caps they are on the right of them. What are those things, and I have been reading more about the gas tanks being a little problematic on receiving fuel, did you guys run into that issue at all?
