Yep. like others, it's my second favorite. I prefer Scumfrog Trophy series only because they are slightly heavier and seem to be a little more stable (don't flip over quite as easily). Can't go wrong with the PC, though.

I got some KastKing Mega 8 at the beginning of the season. I've used it all summer long on my frogging set up. It has handled everything I've thrown at it with no problems. With that said, I won't buy it again. It felt pretty "ropey" to me and I lost distance with it. I also felt like it was "too slick" and I didn't have as much confidence it my knots. Does that make it bad? Nope. It just means I like Power Pro better and will stick with it. Someone that DOES like it would find no argument with me. Diff'rent strokes, folks.

It isn't. You were hallucinating. Just like it also isn't possible to catch bass without thousands of dollars worth of electronics and CERTAINLY not without filming the experience.

I have found only 2 that remotely compare. Stik-o's and Bizzbaits. That's it.

I use Stren Fluorocast as leader material. Cheap, available everywhere, ties good knots, never broke while fighting a fish. What's not to like?

Green Pumpkin Senko with tail dipped in JJ's Chart. I actually get bored with it after awhile and burn through a ton of them. The other is a BPS Balsa Boogie. Not made anymore but I got a quite a few of them. d**n thing just flat catches fish.

Wasn't skunked but I couldn't find a pattern to save my butt. Hot as hell in NOWEMO right now. I think it's got the bass freaked out. Supposed to be cooling down right now.

Great old lure that still works just fine. Tossed one the other day, in fact. *pop* *pop* *pop* *POP!* *pause....repeat* I like to throw them on my finesse spinning gear. Why? It's fun.

I got the Bone 130. I'm gonna give it a good work out tomorrow and Sunday on a different lake I've been wanting to try. I haven't given up on it yet...just no luck yet

Never caught a fish one one. Thrown it a bunch of times. I know it works....just doesn't seem to for me or where I fish. Congrats on your great day!

I actually have the opposite problem. I throw a lot of different things. Some with more success than others. The last couple of times I've been out, I've decided to slow waaaay down and just toss mostly weightless senkos or use an Owner Ultra head finesse jig or VMC Drop Dead Hook. Been tearing it up but also been gut hooking a lot of bass. This tells me I still have a lot to learn so I am focusing on that for probably the rest of the Fall.

The good........just slayed them today. Didn't seem to matter what I threw they were eating it. The Bad....they were literally eating it. I gut hooked 3 bass today and all three bled out. I watched them come to the surface...all 3 in areas I couldn't get to to keep and eat. d**n, I hate it when I do that

Been there....done that....glad for the experience. Eventually. If it was easy, we would stop going. I had one snap some 8 lb Seaguar Red label over the weekend that I never even got to see. I just felt one helluva jolt and set the hook just as she was taking off. She made it a couple of feet before *snap*. All you can do is curse the Gods, retie, and go after her! p.s. Just as an FYI......I also adjusted my drag. For some reason, I basically had it locked down. No idea why....ESPECIALLY on my spinning (finesse) set up. D'OH!
