The KC BPS had Daiwa Tatula Rods for $99 and $109 last time I was in there. A VERY good deal on a nice rod. Check the clearance rack for those.

I've had good luck with the BPS but not over and above anything listed above. I'm not a big fan of the KVD's though. I have some and throw them but not in love with their action and they get out of tune too much for my taste.

I'm a pretty darn good hollow body frog fisherman. Better than some, I reckon. I got the timing "touch" and don't miss many.

If you are looking for a good cheap spinner bait, you can't go wrong with the H&H's. I haven't found too many ways I CANT fish them other than throwing them into muck. Just make sure you put the hooks on right!

I cast right handed and switch to reel in right handed. Weirdly, I have more control over the bait with my my left hand. I do it with both BC's and spinning. Not even something I think about and do it so fast that it's not an issue. Just how I've learned it

Don't know if I've ever seen this topic discussed and I couldn't find anything in Search. I use Spike It currently just because it's what I bought and have had luck with it. I saw a recent video of someone that used to post here that says JJ's is best. I have no prejudice against JJ's. Which do you use and why? Do you have a preference? Ever used either of them in conjunction with Mega Strike? Just looking for some ideas.....

Challenging? Figuring out what they want. Exciting? When you DO figure out what they want! Actually, my most favorite thing is the toilet bowl flush of a big Momma sucking down a frog I'm dragging through some muck. *twitch* *twitch* KA-WOOOOSH!!! and the fight is on. There is another thread that folks are discussing the merits of free shipping vs. the expense of shipping and I had an idea. How many of you have Amazon Prime? You pay x amount of money every year and this gives you access to a bunch of stuff...including free shipping on most purchases. What if TW, BPS, Cabela's, etc. offered the same thing? Would you pay a yearly fee to get "free shipping"..especially if they threw in other goodies? I'm kinda surprised other major retailers haven't done that. I'd be interested if I thought it was good value plus it would kinda automatically steer me towards that particular retailer. I'm not a marketing guy but i think it's an interesting idea. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure I understand the desire to film yourselves fishing. I mean, I watch fishing videos but they are for instruction. I don't just watch random dudes catching fish. Maybe I'm just getting old. GET OFF MY LAWN!!!!

The moral of this story is they all work. The BEST one is the one that is catching you fish and that you have the confidence in.

Another vote for the President...pair it up with whatever rod feels right to you. Any of the above choices are good ones
