  1. Cheap stuff works for me lol.
  2. I own a few lews tournament pro and a few tatulas. Both are great reels. I've had good customer service with lews and daiwa, I think the twing is over hyped. Don't really notice that much distance. ultimately it's up to what you want in a reel.
  3. Catch some tree bass, you'll be buy new lures soon lol. Those are some good colors you shouldn't have any problems.
  4. you can youtube how to rewrap guides, for me it would be to much work id just cut off the tip a little bit and put on a new tip top guide about half way up from the second broken guide. Might be a good idea to check and see if there is anyone local who can wrap guides for you.
  5. Didn't shimano release rods with the spiral x or whatever blanks already?
  6. Lucky craft lvrto or just a strike king red eye. Most of the time I'm throwing blue and chrome.
  7. I started asking for tackle warehouse gift cards lol.
  8. I was doing so well, went almost all winter with out feeding the bait monkey. These caught my eye when I stopped into cabellas to purchase my license. 5.99 each
  9. Glue it back if possible or I add them to my box of scrap. One day I'll melt them down and pour some craws or senkos lol
  10. What I bring depends on the time of year and water I'm fishing. What always stays in my bag are jigs, spinner baits, chatter baits, crank baits, and soft plastics. Found out about those thin 3701 or 3601 Plano boxes last year and they really freed up space in my bag.
  11. My go-to is a 4 inch robo worm. Sometimes I like to get crazy and use a small profile craw with a short leader. But I only target dinks so my input is void. Lol
  12. If hooks are still good I'd reuse them
  13. if you dont feel like pouring your own you can always go the lazy route and buy some painted or unpainted jig heads and add your own skirt to them.
  14. I've used them for hybrids but not the prepackaged stuff. Net some live ones if your allowed.
  15. I did the braided line move on myself took me 3 pulls because I was being a little.... But I did get it out on 3rd pull haha
  16. Guessing by price range I would say nope. Wasn't a big fan of lower grade fluro.
  17. I like carbon fiber on my reels and graphite on my rods lol.
  18. 18 ball bearings! You'd have to be one smooth angler to join there prostaff.
  19. get out on my yak more and learn to fish deeper water. also need to put down that dang nedrig
  20. I'd say get the best setup you can afford. Daiwa, shimano,Abu,lews they all make great reels. Rod is kinda iffy because not one rod will excell at every technique. But a good 7mh xf or f is an all arounder. Bought a cheap baitcaster for my first time and I honestly hated it. Wasn't till I tried out some mid range setup that I enjoyed baitcasting.
  21. I fish multiple species and sometimes just sitting there waiting for a bite is pretty relaxing.
  22. not sure when but ive been dissapointed in them these past few years most of the stuff are house brand. they do have a decent reel and rod trade in program.
  23. man that looks great! im tempted to pick up an airbrush to
  24. Off topic but mend it glue will save you some$ over time. Now if I can get the bass to stop biting off the tails on my kietechs I'd be a few dollars richer
