  1. You'll have to put one side in first then press the other side in, I'm talking about the little studs sticking out
  2. Gotta start saving them from my beef jerky bags lol
  3. Good burner baits. Stock hooks are sharp. I throw a spro aruku when I want to fish fast. When I'm yoyoing it's a red eye shad or lvrto. The rattle traps catch a lot of fish but a lot of them aren't lmb
  4. Stradic ci4+ and a dobyns champion extreme. Or save the extra 300 and pick up a symetre and a compre
  5. Once in a while I'll toss out a buoy, no electronics on the yak yet
  6. I'll have to check out mondos, do you know their hours of operation? Rodgers is kinda far but I do visit once or twice a year.
  7. I still go to a local bait store for live minnows but the gear and lures selection is poor.
  8. So you think sitting at home watching internet videos is going to make you a better fisher man. I only watch it adds
  9. Anyone know of a brand that's close to rapala ultralight ripin rap but heavier?
  10. I'd post on c list or find local bass clubs on fb and post their. Never buying on eBay again after the last incident. Was sent a wrong rod and I had to pay shipping back, the seller even argued that it was the right rod, they sent me a medium instead of a medium heavy lol.
  11. If you can afford a new combo then yes. A moderate action rod helps by absorbing some of the force when you hook set or when the fish pulls.
  12. I use ewg on thicker plastics and worm hooks on thinner ones, just put your bait up to the hook and see if their is enough bend or hook left to catch the fish. a circle hook or octopus circle in 1 or 1/0 works for me with wacky rigs.
  13. Wait till your buddies ask why you have a green line on your lips
  14. Power bait for setting and cleos/rooster tails, can't wait to break out the ultra light rods again!
  15. I mainly throw a few colors on swim jigs green pumpkin and pear/white. Same with chatter baits I throw a blacknblue or white/pearl. Might mix it up and add some jjs chartreuse to the green pumpkin or white/pearl on the tails or tip of craws. Most of the forage fish around here are shad and bluegill so it's easy to match.
  16. Try flushing your old bearings out a giving it a light drop of oil. I wouldn't trust it if it was way cheaper than boccas site prices. For the price of bearings and pliers I'd just buy a better reel.
  17. My dad didn't need a belt to whoop me but it made his job easier, you don't need a moderate taper for cranking but it sure does help.
  18. I don't use the bps brand but I do use other worm binders, ripped out the binders and use it at as baggy lol.
  19. so DVT i need to measure the diameter of my broken tip and match it with the tube size right? i lost the broken tip so im not sure how big a ring size i should get
  20. Any recommendations? And how do I find the right size for my rod thanks.
  21. I have to play with the righty reel at department stores and then order a lefty online. Looking forward to the review
  22. I tried once and got my pots jacked haven't done it again, same with my catfish yoyos.....
