  1. Bass below 2 lbs are good eating. Big ones live to die another day
  2. Try different brands and see which one you like. I personally like Original Power Pro Edit: There may have been a knick in the line, did you check it every now and then?
  3. Don't bring anything else when you go fishing for a couple days. Only the t-rig and your plastic of choice. Some good soft plastics that catch fish are Rage Craws w/ 3/16 oz bullet weight, Trick Worms, Brush hogs.
  4. Some like braid with cranks, some don't. I like coplymer for crankbaits
  5. I think you're overthinking. I just fish what I feel like they're gonna bite on.
  6. I'm hungry...
  7. I'm struggling to understand what you're trying to say... I think you should start using correct grammar and capitalizations.
  8. I like using it on copolymers too
  9. I have the old model SS1H Speed Spool. Great little reel. I'm sure the new model is good too.
  10. 7 FT MH Mod Fast rod, 12 lb Yo Zuri Hybrid. Chuck and reel, varying speed
  11. Powell Diesel 7 Ft MH Mod-fast. Love this rod for squarebills
  12. I wish I had a fishing spot in my backyard
  13. I think your friend is just mad that he broke his and you haven't yet lol.
  14. What rod you use? I'm thinking like a 7'+ H rod with ratings of like 1/4 - 1 & 1/2 oz...
  15. May pick some up. How many fish does one EZ shad last as a trailer before tearing up?
  16. Anyone use them? What trailers do you use?
  17. Baby bass , albino, watermelon. I'll throw these in any water clarity.
  18. With a baitcaster you'll be able to launch the frogs pretty far, use heavier braid, and baitcasters come in high speed gear ratios which will help with hooksets. If you do get one, don't cheap out on them. You can get a quality combo for around 200 dollars. Edit: If you want to stay with spinning, then get a MH Fast action rod like Colt said.
  19. If I were you I'd invest in a nice baitcasting combo and lean how to use that. Once you get the hang of them an ENTIRELY new world of bass fishing will be opened up.
  20. Usually spend 3 hours on the banks... Probably catch like 6-7 but that's it. I fish public ponds though
  21. Love using jigs, spinnerbaits, and a topwater spook or buzzbait.
  22. ABW replied to ABW's topic in Fishing Tackle
Swimming jigs / spinnerbaits are becoming a favorite of mine too
  23. I've snapped braid when I wasn't paying attention and all of a sudden I feel something on the line so I set the hook pretty hard. Is this due to the nonstretch quality of braid?
  24. I like to reel slow then burn it for a second or two.
  25. Never broke an alberto knot before.
