  1. You can never have too many
  2. Spinning I'm assuming? If so you should try getting a baitcaster... they aren't as bad as they seem.
  3. X3 on the Yo Zuri. 12 lb should work but don't forget to spray KVD line and lure. Their Hybrid 12 lb breaks at 19 lbs.
  4. I like Booyah, but I'm looking to try some Pepper Customs and some Revenge Spinners.
  5. I follow the line diameters of the braid. They'll usually provide the mono equivalent. But really for baitcasters 30 and up is what you should use because anything below that will dig into intself For spinning reels generally 8-20 lb braid, it's not necessary to go all the way up to 30 or 40
  6. I would get at least a 7' rod. I'm getting the *** Black 7'3" MH for what you're using but I'm mostly throwing 3/8 and 1/2 oz so you may want to bump it up to the heavy power. I like using 30-40 lb braid with jigs with a 15-20 lb fluoro leader. Some like straight fluoro, though
  7. It's time for a fish fry..
  8. I went to three different Walmarts trying to find one for that price but to no avail
  9. It's an awesome idea. Braid lasts forever, and when visibility is an issue, just buy one filler spool of your favorite fluorocarbon to use as leader material. Saves a TON of money
  10. Some people have checked their local Walmarts and have found them mismarked for like 30 bucks. The ones around here still have them for like 99.99
  11. Sometimes you just can't help it. The wind may be blowing, and you'll never feel the bite. Happens to me all the time. You don't need to do anything to change the way you're fishing. I guess paying more attention to your line would help.
  12. That's the way to break in a new rod!
  13. Kudos to you. But I'm sure little things like that are insignificant, don't sweat it too much!
  14. Love how people don't look closely at the dog before just running away lol. It's so small
  15. MH moderate fast... best of both worlds.
  16. At 0:13 the cloud of smoke and the actual cloud....
  17. Fluorocarbon is more sensitive. Braid is sensitive with a semi-tight line.
  18. I too am going to get an *** at the end of the year. TW doesn't have them in stock until December anyway. I've decided to get the 7'3" MH for 3/8 oz and 1/2 oz jigs, and some moderate cover frogging. 7'3" for the little extra casting distance over the 7'1". I've only used Powell Rods, and they are a little underrated comparted to the Omens. The Powell Heavy is an *** MH. If you're gonna be using bigger jigs than what I am I'd go with the heavy power.
  19. I've never seen anyone do that bow and arrow trick before.... I usually just grab a tree branch, wrap my braid around it, and pull until something gives. Might need to try that out
  20. It depends on the lure.... for ex) I'm sure a lot of people would go diving for a Megabass lol
  21. BROKE MY SUPER THIN RAZOR!!
  22. You will get more leverage on the fish with a longer rod like kikstand stated. I lose a bunch of fish in a kayak with my 6'8" rod
