I took a trip last weekend and came out of pocomoke city. BEA utiful river. I was only able to manage 4 unders in the shad landing area but will be working north of snow hill this weekend. Thanks for the info. preciate it.

They probably ran that same water 1000x. Just terrible.....I feel for the familes.

Same here, except I dont fish much braid. The 12 cxx feels like cable.

I am taking a trip down this upcoming weekend to get a feel for the river and 1 more trip closer to the 25th of next month to prefish. I have never been on this river so its a clean slate. Anyone know the river? I am primarily concerned navigation hazards 1st, any bass info would be helpful as well. I hear it has stump fields, pads, and cypress trees. Cant wait to run around it a bit.

From what I have seen they are rarely mouth hooked although it does happen. Most of the time its in a foot or underside of the shell but in all cases they move. Its a dull slow pull kinda deal.

The boards kayak anglers use seems like a decent solution to the bank hopper fish in the dirt problem. It would fit in a back pack easily and it has a ruler. Wet it, lay the fish on for a pic and problem solved. I have never priced one but seems like it would be worth it.

10 4. A spinnerbait properly fished with the current can be deadly for smallies. There are times on the Susquehanna that you dont need a tube, craw, or jerk bait. Just a white or char tandem willow

Head to federalsburg you can bank fish the marshy hope....there is a few spots that on a tide you can bust em good.

For me the chatterbait does not do well around wood. Love it around grass but laydowns always seem to grab it. Try a light swim jig around that wood. SJ comes through everything. SJ is an ATB.

High was like 9 930 and it really was not that bad until 10...then all hell broke loose. There was no hiding anywhere from it. Dont forget to add in the SNOW.. really?!!!! Lol.....Congrats on that win at anna.

Saturday after 10am was the easily the worst weather I have ever fished in. It snowed for about and hour, then mixed to small hail and rain. Shortly after that the wind got wicked. Steady 30 at the weigh in. We got 2 fish for just under 6lbs and my partner lost 3 good ones. All our bites were before 10am.

Its been a long while since I fished it. That will have me cautious for sure. Update....my draw was in the top 10. A good draw and a great conversation with Logan has put me in a really positive mind set. Gotta execute now. Logan, thanks man. Really nice talking with you.
