Maryland's Who's who!
It will get going boys....the Potomac near Ft Washington had 47 48 deg water so its close to poppin off. We graphed some fish on breaks in 8ft and 10ft of water. Wont be long til the grass comes up and they move up. Keep grinding.

Casting rod suggestion
This is false and just as disappointing as your no good combos for under 500 bucks comment so I hope your kidding. People come here for good advice. You should try giving some. Nothing wrong with fishing high dollar stuff if you are able to do so, but making it seem like you have to to have quality is false.

What's Your Combo?
I would try something new and grab a 7ft something Irod Air and the new lews reel. It would be crazy light and so much fun to fish.

Lews Speed Spool LFS or Okuma Cerros
I fished ABU prior to my lews and shimano overhaul. I will stay with those 2 brands bc I am more than happy with them.

Lews Speed Spool LFS or Okuma Cerros
IMHO the Cerros leaves alot to be desired. The lews lfs and mb do not leave you wishing and they get better as they get used. What you end up with is a missile sending no back lashing dependable reel that is really easy to take care of.

Lews Speed Spool LFS or Okuma Cerros
Lews all day long....I had both and lews wins on all fronts. If you can come up with the extra money the MB is sweet. I have several.

Why does LC use junk hooks?
Doesnt look good for the petition....I dont have many LC baits so I can only comment on the few I do have. Sticky out of the package.

Spinnerbait water temps???
It is but I am not complaining lol. March and that 1 storm in April last year in MD were humbling. I was on the Potomac for that April storm. Snowed its butt off for a few hours and gave way to nasty wind. I felt real bad for the boats that ran early in the morning..... it was a pretty morning but hell after that.

Maryland's Who's who!
learn where to be at what times on the shore. There are soooooo many places to fish and some of those places have fish in the 5 to 7 range. The amount of places over the bridge is the up and down side. I have been fishing on foot and by boat over there since I could drive and I have still only fished 75%....im 35 now. Big time multi species state too. Big bass, pike, crappie, and bluegills. There is a flavor for everyone over there. Including salt water guys too.

Maryland's Who's who!
I hope to get out to the Nanticoke river soon....they should eat underspins and jerk baits. Fish around laydowns will hit spinnerbaits and squarebills as well. Just gotta get a day to go.

Lexa 100 noise and it's not smooth
maybe you are feeling grit in the bearings. disassemble, remove bearings and soak in acetone. agitate them during the soak. dry them really well and lightly oil. less is more. spin them on the end of a pencil to check they are smooth and reinstall.
