  1. The swim senko is a great producer, works just as well as a swim jig trailer.
  2. Power Pro Slick 8 or Seaguar Smack Down would be my 2 top choices....
  3. I use that rod for Topwater and I use the TAT721MHRB or TAT721HFB for jigs and plastics.
  4. Randy Howell, KVD, Jeff Kriet, Gerald Swindle.....hard to pick just one.
  5. Some single tail grubs in various sizes: 3", 4" 5" etc Some paddle tail swim baits, like Reaction Innovations Skinny Dipper Some Yamamoto swim senior these are just a few of my favorites....
  6. 7' 6" H/XF BC Flipping, Pitching, Punching, Frogs, Swimbaits 6' 9" M/XF BC Topwater, Jerkbaits 7' M/MOD BC Crankbaits 7' MH/MF BC Texas Rigs, Jigs 7' MH/MOD BC Spinnerbaits, Swim Jigs 6' 9" M/MOD Spinning Shakey Head, Drop Shot, Lightweight Plastics, Light Jerk Baits and Top Water
  7. Siebert Jigs are great jigs...Mike is a great guy to deal with!
  8. I did this when I was learning jigs and I need to go back to doing this again for a couple other techniques I want to learn. But it is hard to stop fishing jigs...lol
  9. Haven't tried it, be interested to hear some reviews on it. I use Seaguar Smack Down and Daiwa Samurai.
  10. I love to fish both....Some days I prefer and others I prefer sunset....they are all great!
  11. It should move a little and I wouldn't worry about it. I have several and haven't had any issues and I haven't heard of anyone else having issues with it either....
  12. I started with these rods a long time ago. They are great rods!
  13. It has become very hard to find. The regular Yo-Zuri is becoming hard to find also. In anything other then clear that is.
  14. I would go with the longer rod if where you are fishing has very little trees or other obstacles that will not effect your ability to cast with. The *** Black 7' 3" spinning rod is a great rod!
  15. I would go with 30 or 40lbs braid and use a leader if needed.
  16. I believe you can get the Bass Pro Qualifier bait casting reel for $89.97 and a Bass Pro Carbonlite rod for $89.97 also. So just a little outside your budget but this would be a great little combo.
  17. The Tatula rods are my first experience with Daiwa rods and I am very impressed with them!
  18. Both reel manufacturers are top notch. It is going to come down to what you like....what feels better in your hands..... I have fished both manufacturers extensively and lots if other reel manufactured I just prefer Daiwa reels.
  19. I clean mine once maybe twice a year if they are getting a lot of use and add a little oil to the bearings every 4 or so outings.
  20. In really clear water I try to match the hatch but there are times when a completely unnatural color will just flat out catch them when a natural color will not.
  21. I wear prescription glasses and sun glasses and I use Oakley frames and Oakley lenses. But they are pricey but I wouldn't wear or use anything else.
  22. I have the Tackle Warehouse brand backpack and it has a good amount of storage. The price isn't to bad either. I have also been looking at the Wild River backpacks, but they are on the pricey side.
  23. 10 inch Berkley Power Bait Worm
  24. Nothing better or funner then a good buzz bait bite
