  1. You will get a bunch of different answers to this. I fish 15 to 20# co polymer line for flippin and pitchin.... But I also know guys that use fluorocarbon and braid for this also...

  3. Just take lots of pics as you take it apart. Pretty straight forward and simple and since you have a nice looking bike for your photo I would presume you are pretty mechanical...
  4. Sounds like you have the one way bearing(the needle bearing) pushed into far and when you tighten the drag it is pressing it into the main gear. If that makes any since to you. Happened to me once or twice maybe...lol
  5. My wife looked at a bait cast reel and looked at me and said "I have seen the problems you have sometimes, and no thanks I will pass and stick to my spinning reels." I am still trying to convince her to try one, maybe someday...lol
  6. I have used this line before in 15# and never had problems with it. But I always treated it with KVD L&L really well when spooling it up and before going on a fishing trip.

  8. That is the reel I use for jig fishing and it works flawlessly...
  9. I use a Take a Tatula 7' 2" MH/R rod with a Tatula Type-R reel in 8.1:1 and I use 12lbs Izorline XXX line...
  10. X2 on the Daiwa Tatula rods and reels...
  11. Seaguar Tatsu and use KVD L&L Conditioner and if you don't want to spend that kind of money on Tatsu then I would use inviz-X...

  13. I really like War Eagle spinner baits and North Star Baits spinner baits and I am going to try some Siebert spinner baits.

  15. I use a Daiwa Tatula 7' 2" MH\R rod for my swim jigs. I fish light to heavy grass and a lot of standing timber and have no problem working the jig thru the cover. I use either 10lbs flurocarbon or 40lbs braid, depending on the lake.

  17. Daiwa Samurai braid is my favorite followed by Power Pro Slick 8
  18. No braid so I presume no fluorocarbon either?
  19. I use gray polarized lenses with a blue mirror.

  21. It is all going to come down to your preference... I really like the Daiwa Tatula and the Tatula Type-R reels...but that is what I prefer Get your hands on as many as you can to see how they feel to you. This price range is highly competitive and definitely don't over look Pinnacle reels...
