  1. For those baits I would look at the Daiwa Tatula 7' 2" MH/R rod, it is a great rod for these types of baits and it is also a great swim jig rod.
  2. Cocoons are amazing and worth the money for a fit over.
  3. I prefer a MH/MF action rod, length is up to you, I currently use a Daiwa Tatula 7' 2" MH/R for spinner baits.
  4. I have this rod and use it for fishing jigs and T-Rigs exclusively. It is an outstanding rod for the techniques you have mentioned.
  5. The Daiwa Tatula 7' 4" Frogging Rod would be a great choice
  6. Lots of great reels mentioned, but I would take a look at the Pinnacle Optimus LTE, the Daiwa Tatula Type-R is the reel I use and you can occasionally find them at a great price as Evan K posted
  7. I use a 7' 4" H/F rod for frogs
  8. For fishing frogs I use a Daiwa Tatula 7' 4" Frogging Rod with a Tatula Type-R reel in 8.1:1 ratio with Daiwa Samurai Braid in 55lbs
  9. Daiwa Tatula 7' 2" MH/R rod and a Daiwa Tatula Type-R in 8.1:1 with 12lbs P-Line Floroclear
  10. I have great luck with swim jigs and chatterbaits and I always use a trailer on both. For swim jigs I use 5/16oz North Star Baits Original Swim Jig and for Chatterbaits I use Bluebasser86...for trailers i use either Reaction Innovations Skinny Dipper or Big Bite Baits Cane Thumper...
  11. You can basically use any type of trailer on a chatterbait....my preferred trailers are Reaction Innovations Skinny Dippers and Big Bite Baits Cane Thumper.
  12. I am not a fan of the S&W M&P Shield. A couple of my friends have them and love them, I have shot them several times and just don't care for them especially the trigger. I have a Ruger SR9C and in my opinion it is a pretty decent gun. But my gun of choice and every day carry is the SIg Sauer P320 Compact with the small frame in 9mm. The trigger on this gun is just amazing.
  13. I was wondering the same thing, Hank was using bands for braces. I don't think they have quite the stretch and pop of a regular rubber band. These are a brand new spinner bait designed by Hank Parker and they just went on sale yesterday on his web site only at the moment.
  14. There a lot of rods in that price range and everyone will like something different. You will just need to try and handle as many of the rods in that range that you can. I am Daiwa guy so I would look at the Tatula or Cronos rods.
  15. 12lbs fluorocarbon is just way to much for a spinning reel. I would drop down to 6lbs or 8lbs line.
  16. I would look at a rod in the 7' range and in either a M/MF or MH/MF.
  17. I saw these today on the Hank Parker show, they look very promising. I just ordered a couple of these so I guess we will see. Only available on hie web site at the moment.
  18. When I do use scents I use Megastrike or KVD Scent Sticks...
  19. Always use a trailer on those 2 baits. The style is completely up to you...
  20. I use either 30lbs braid or 10lbs fluorocarbon...
  21. I use Daiwa Samurai braid in either 40lbs or 55lbs and will use a leader when the situation calls for it. I would stay in the 40lbs to 55lbs area no matter which brand you choose to go with.
  22. The line is well worth it...It is amazing line!
  23. The only time I don't fish a jig is when I am not fishing....lol Otherwise I always have at least 2 jigs ready to go.....
  24. My go-to bait is a swim jig and my favorite bait to use...
