They swim just fine. The tail wiggles and wobbles very well. I am referring to the sunfish with the chartruse spot on the tail.

I think that means you're getting the lure where it needs to be...in areas of cover....rocks, wood, etc. Most of my spinner baits have paint knocked off of them.

It seems that Iran might be doing some sabre rattleing like North Korea has been known to do. I heard on the radio this morning that OPEC and said that if we were to attack Iran that oil prices would skyrocket.

I don't know about Gar, but in my experience where there is carp there are not bass. This could jsut be me though.

I like to find areas that have trees/brush overhanging and making shade/cover and skip plastic underneath and in the pockets.

Perhaps if the ponds are heavily pressured you are throwing the same/similar baits as everyone else. You could do some recon and see what others are throwing and then use what they aren't.

Anymore, I am carrying when I leave the house. That includes on the boat.
