Do you guys that have the unit have any suggestions on how to set the unit up? What I am getting at is things like sensitivity settings and all of that good stuff to get the most out of the unit.

Thanks for the advice. I didn't have a snag. This was the second time I have "caught" a turtle. This time I was working a frog through some slop and the "fish" exploded on it. I set the hook and the rod doubled over. I figured I had a nice one, or a 1 lb. fish with 4 lbs. of grass. Anyway, it was a turtle. Out of the two hooks on the frog, one was missing and the other one's hookeye was snapped in half. Previously I caught one on a carolina rig on a big worm.

I just got Fox News and CNN alerts that the Dow has dropped 400 points on poor job news and surging oil prices.

I had a boat once and was in a situation similar to yours. Of course, your regs may be different than in PA. I bought the boat off of a guy. No papers, no registration. I called the place that does titles and registrations here and asked what I would need to do in order to get on the water legally. With no title, I would still be able to register the boat. However, if it was stolen I would be S.O.L. In order to get it registered, they told me to either bring the boat to them, or do a pencil tracing of the boat i.d. numbers (the deal where you put paper over something and lightly run the pencil over it so the image comes through). Hope this helps give you another idea. I'd hate for you to put all the time and money into the boat to have it confiscated or earn you a hefty fine or possibly cirminal charges.

Commodity prices are all very volatile and oil is no different. When prices go up, the media scrambles for a reason, something or someone to blame. When prices fall, it's usually not big news. 8-) I really believe the media has had a lot to do with the price increases. They "report" oil price rises and "predict" gas will be x number of dollars by this date, thus creating a self fulfilling prophecy. I can buy that. I think the media does us a diservice at times by creating panic and chaos.

I flipped to it when the hockey game was on break. I wasn't impressed with the show. Kimbo did not live up to the hype. I think the stoppage was very questionable. The lawyer fight was good. Unfortunate stoppage. Both those guys can hit and take a hit. But, they were also UFC fighters.... As for the Pulver/Faber fight, I had hoped to see Pulver win. It was a good fight. That is the first I had really watched Faber. He was tough.

I think there will either be a lot of grass or a lot of dead grass. There was a lot of new growth and vegitation popping up when the water was down.

A news update on the radio today had a guy saying that while the price of gas may rise a few more cents, he belives it will fall 15-25 cents over the next month or so as a result of fewer miles driven and more fuel conservation.

That was an exciting game to watch.
