  1. Definatly take the time to check out Dave Ramsey. He has a show on the Fox Business Network. He has also written a couple of books. Buy the house before the boat. Dave says: "Live like no one else so later you can live like no one else."
  2. That's really unfortunate. Hopefully you can recover.
  3. Cool picture.
  4. Sounds like you guys are on them.
  5. Its a toad in my book. Nice work.
  6. We had a warm winter a couple years back, so waters had not iced over yet. An ice/snow storm came in a work was shut down early. The roads weren't too bad so I went fishing. My biggest concern was a snow plaow burrying my little S-10 on the side of the road.
  7. Sexy fish on a sexy lure.
  8. I think top water is the most fun. I use a "senko style" lure most often.
  9. Buzzbait over the logs and stumps.
  10. I once read a tip that said to put baking soda in your livewell after you trailer your boat to drive home. Keep the water in it. All the bumps, turns, etc. will will have the water sloshing around and should do a decent cleaning job. As for your current problem, I don't have any suggestions, sorry.
  11. Typically anything from smoke/gray to dark. Fleck colors as well.
  12. I hate ticks. I hate them with a passion. I find much joy in getting them (before they bite) and killing them with a lighter. Get to the doctor ASAP. I have heard some nasty stuff about Lyme. I saw SPEEDBEAD's rash. It was nasty and scary.

In reality, I'm with you. If those baits always work or get you out of a jam most of the time, they are what you need to be using on a regular basis. I'd have to say I agree with both of you.

    I have a panic room...
  15. What about a dab of glue? Better yet, what about a dab of glue that is infused with Megastrike?
  16. Palomar, palomar, palomar. Strong, simple, fast, effective.
  17. If its a tournament, I will stay low even put the rod tip into the water if I think she is going to jump. If its a non tourney, I'll let them jump (unless it feels big) and enjoy it.
  18. I'll skip until I believe I have worked the area over and I have pulled the fish out or not caught anything at all.
  19. Bobby, Any consideration to a double bladed cavitoron?
  20. The post title says it all.
  21. I think you may get some very opinionated responses on this. If memory serves, I don't recall too many people who were impressed with this product. Try running a search and I think you'll find the answer to your query.
  22. That's along the lines of what I was thinking. Thanks.
  23. I am becoming new to frog fishing, so I don't have much to add to your question. I have been getting the SPRO as well. So far, in one use, I had a turtle blow up on the frog and completely destroy it. I am curious as to the effectiveness of a frog NOT fished in the traditional frog areas (slop, pads, etc.). The places I fish don't have the traditional frog areas. I am wondering how well/poorly they may work in fishing the banks.
