  1. Yeah, I got that about 2 years ago. They wanted me to "borrow" it and send it back (at my cost for shipping), or pay the money for the rest of the stuff. If you didn't request it, it's yours to keep. I just kept the book and didn't buy their other stuff. They hounded me for weeks and weeks wanting it back, but I didn't give it back, considering I didn't even ask for it.
  2. Happy 4th of July everyone!
  3. Thanks for the advice Chris! I did realize bait was quite hard to find. The only place I consistently buy bait is Wal-Mart. That's a good idea about the bass rod! I'll have to throw that in as well.
  4. Congratulations to a top notch member! [move]Go SAM![/move]
  5. Hey guys, I had a misunderstanding. Flukemaster told me he was sending me the mojo, and I thought he meant the bracelet. I received the lure today and was like, "Where's the bracelet?" Then I realized from member dsaavedra it was different. : I'll get it out and try it out soon! Thanks for sending it, Aaron "TF"
  6. That was hilarious... ;D
  7. Thanks guys! I really appreciate all of the help. I know I saw people catching sharks at Hilton Head, and I actually caught a few small ones myself. I noticed that people would catch them while fishing for other fish, and nobody really said anything. I figure if you're obviously fishing for them, they'll say something, but if you catch one on accident it won't be a problem.
  8. Welcome! Now you can view multimedia files guests couldn't see, like pictures and video. 8-)
  9. And why is it that you have this ointment? : Just asking, just asking.... x2 Keep it to yourself, partner! ;D
  10. This gets me every time. I can't resist chuckling when I seriously see people trying to catch fish doing this.
  11. If you're doing any early morning or late evening fishing, I would definitely break out the white buzzbaits. That is a very productive way to find the fish. Once you've found them, unload some of the other lures in your arsenal. Main thing is to try a variety of lures. Not everything will always work, so therefore by using different things, you'll eventually find a lure that really starts bringing them in. 8-)
  12. That's awesome! I've never caught a perch, they're not really around the areas I fish. That thing is obese.
  13. Hey guys, I'll be doing some surf fishing when I go on vacation to Hilton Head, S.C. in two weeks. I typically use a rig with 2 hooks and a pyramind sinker, and my baits are usually frozen or live shrimp, squid, and minnows. I was wondering how the fishing was in that area, and if you guys had any tips or tricks to try. Thanks in advance! -Aaron "TF"
  14. Now THOSE are some fish! That's an excellent day on the water. Those are monsters compared to my average sized fish!
  15. x2. Those can be better than trout when fried right!
  16. That's most definitely a green sunfish. I've caught all kinds of them and I definitely know one when I see one. Those things will hit my lures when I'm fishing for bass.
  17. Prayers sent.
  18. You are probably right on the mark. x2, That's usually what ends up happening.
  19. Thanks for serving our country! Can't wait 'till you get to come home.
  20. x2. Wouldn't want any misconceptions, would we?
  21. I'll agree with you there. Some of mine are as well.
  22. ;D That was hilarious

  24. x2 The deer population in West Virginia is outrageous, especially in our eastern mountain counties. We spot at least 2-3 deer standing broad in the middle of the road at night when we go there, and at dusk, you can look in fields and literally see hundreds and hundreds of them.
  25. Psht, what a joke! : West Virginia. And no, I'm not an inbred cannibal.
