  4. http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/eaglefox.asp I love snopes...they always have answers to urban legends and other things. However, LBH, looks like you called it right. This is a true picture! Look at the freeze frame pictures. http://www.tarsiger.com/index.php?pic_id=komi1142612071〈=fin
  5. I've saw that pig before...huge! However, here's some information pertaining to the big hog. http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/hogzilla.asp It said that it is only 7 and 1/2 feet long, and weighed 800 lbs. Even with that, that's one big pig! Bacon, anyone? ;D
  6. Who is to say that the earth doesn't cool down every 300 to 400 years, or heat up every 300-400 years? Was the scientific technology we now possess around in the 1600's to measure the quality of the air or the level of gas put into the air? I believe in pollution, of course, but not necessarily global warming. If I went outside at midnight, and my neighbor turned on his back porch light, does that necessarily mean he does it every night at that exact time? Of course not. So, how can we infer that the earth is unnaturally heating or cooling if we haven't had the technology to measure what the exact temperature of the earth was back even 200 years ago, or measure the level of the ozone layer, or how thick the ice caps are? Even after stating this, however, I don't believe that we should be pumping large levels of soot and pollution into the air. Strict rules should be placed on factories that put sludge into the ocean or pump it into the air. The Clean Air Act enacted by President Bush was quite helpful in that it enacted such laws into effect. Besides, if the rivers and streams and oceans are polluted, where would we fish? Edit at 6:05 p.m. Eastern time: I'm watching the news right now, and a spokesperson of the NOAA has just stated... "It is not global warming at all. We are in a mild to moderate el nino pattern right now, and this el nino is not caused by global warming." I guess that's your answer.
  7. I've got something similar...another 3-D artist; I'm not sure if it's the same guy. http://stressbuster1.net/mural/ Here's the guy! http://users.skynet.be/J.Beever/pave.htm http://www.impactlab.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=7567
  8. I like Tim Horton's doughnuts, but not the way they're trying to sue a man who merely has the same name as their company..it's not right!

  13. ;D ;D ;D On a serious note, I don't believe in global warming on that large of a scale. I believe the earth goes through heating and cooling cycles.
  14. Well, I'm 15, and several people at my school enjoy going fishing and going outdoors. True, an equal number of people enjoy going to the mall and things, but there are quite a bit who enjoy the sport of fishing.
  15. Ha...that's great. I had a fish like that once while I was noodling, and I never managed to get it in. : ;D
  16. Heh heh heh ;D I really am considering going once I get out of high school and I am in college...perhaps a spring break?
  17. Fox News is in no way propaganda any more than CNN is. Stating that the gold stored from under the towers before Osama could blow them up is a complete and entirely false statement. That is an utterly ridiculous statement, as is saying that the only reason President Bush invaded Iraq to get oil. If that's the case, then why are gas prices high? : When you take guns away from honest citizens, first off, if you did that in America, it would be in violation of the second amendment, and secondly, if you take guns away from law abiding citizens, then how are they to defend themselves against thieves who do have guns? Think about it. If you say for everyone to give up their guns, do you think that criminals would be all too happy to agree and turn theirs in as well? : Our family as a whole does in fact listen to CNN and read the New York Times from time to time, and we do get both sides...what I'm saying is a reasonable assumption: CNN and other forms of media are more liberal, Fox news is more conservative. I'd like to apologize for mis-interpreting the statement about Iraq when you said that America was a fine, self-enlightened country. I'm glad that we can be gentlemen and have a little bit of honest debate.
  18. Summed up in one simple opinion, you agree with FishingJ's opinion of I did not personally attack the Starbucks corporation, in fact, I have drank a Starbucks cappacino myself; I am referring to the fact of left wingers who sit around all day thinking of ways to down the United States of America, and how their opinion is like dirt to me. You have soldiers working their a** off in the middle east to protect this country, and you have people like John Kerry calling our soldiers uneducated. It burns me up. This "free press" constantly reports negative news stories on the War in Iraq and the War on Terrorism. In fact, in 2005, over 60% of all news stories were negative. http://www.mediaresearch.org/press/2005/press20051013.asp As for the positive news? As seen from this quote from the link above, "Few stories focused on the heroism or generous actions of American soldiers. Just eight stories were devoted to recounting episodes of heroism or valor by U.S. troops, and another nine stories featured instances when soldiers reached out to help the Iraqi people. In contrast, 79 stories focused on allegations of combat mistakes or outright misconduct on the part of U.S. military personnel. " Here's another good link. http://www.boston.com/news/globe/editorial_opinion/oped/articles/2005/11/02/the_good_news_from_iraq_is_not_fit_to_print/
  19. Agreed...any decision has critics, yet when the positives outweigh the negatives, then it's best to be called barbaric that have some maniac dictator threatening the U.S.
