  1. Can you hook me up with Roland Martin? Nah, I'd ask him what is his fav' technique to catch fish and why. ;D
  2. What I would suggest is keep the fish in a styrofoam bucket with cooler water. I would also strongly suggest an aerator. I got mine at Wally World for $6, Can't beat the price.
  3. Welcome Snake! Can't really help you as far as boat fishing, as I'm a bank fisherman....
  4. Just watch the line. A lot of times, after the first fall, I'll have a fish on and not know it, so, I set the hook if I see even the slightest bit of motion. By the way, welcome aboard.
  5. Since I usually fish ponds and streams, none.
  6. Maybe it's a sign; appreciate the shirt, but don't abuse it, or bad things WILL happen......
  7. Man I love these shirts. 8-)
  8. Welp, I'm headed out to the local locks and dam two days from now, it'll be the first test run for the shirt.
  9. I saw the special Glenn ran on BassResource.com's home page and decided to get me a T-Shirt. It only took a few days for me to recieve it, and it fits perfectly. I wanted to say that now perhaps I have a new lucky T-Shirt.
  10. Older folks do that when I'm with my dad anywhere. "Is this little guy your helper today?" For God's sake, I'm 15, not 7. Anyway, my list in no particular order. *When you're bank fishing, people in boats who motor over to your spot, when they have the whole lake and they have to choose my spot. *People who cross lines with you *People who come in between you and your buddy while bank fishing and make about three casts with a noisy spinner, thus scaring any fish, then leaving *As mentioned by PinkFloyd, when someone holds a spinning rod upside down. > I mean, maybe you can fish like that, but it drives the heck out of me *People who have a negative outlook on life, and fishing, for example, "Beautiful weather today, ain't it? " "Supposed to rain, supposed to be windy, grumble grumble" Ok, there's my list.
  11. I believe we should consider the matter closed.
  12. Probably I would cast some sort of soft plastic around the edges of the pond. Is there any type of drain or anything? If so, this is where you need to fish.
  13. Mmm neither do I.
  14. C'mon guys, I hope no one took the guns statement seriously; if you did, then you have some issues. I actually thought it was pretty funny. :
  15. What do I think....hmmm. I you have a boat, I would get near the baitfish and throw a buzzbait for starts, and then toss a minnow imitation, be it a spinnerbait or a swimbait. Well, that's how I'd approach the schools of baitfish, at least.
  16. Ok, anyway, if the laws and regulations of a state strictly forbids using gamefish as bait, then hey, don't do it. As far as using them for bait if it IS legal, then do what you want, but remember, most fish have a purpose in the pond/lake, that is, except bait that has been imported illegally. There's my take.
  17. Mmmm if it says not to keep pickerel, then don't do it.
  18. Hey, welcome aboard Wayne!
  19. Mmmm agreed. I've had luck this way.
  20. Yeah, welcome BloomingTownie! If you have any specific questions about bass fishing, I'm sure that you can have your questions answered.
  21. Mmm you're welcome! Ah, I'm sure between us we could whip up a few keeper bass....
