Look at what our school did to revolt against corruption. I'm in the National Honor Society, but this is the only time I've gotten detention (for participating in the walkout). This incident caused all 3 principals (the principal and the 2 vice principals) to resign. Yeah, right :. Gas price went up down here too. It's a commodity, just like anything else. Every market falls and rises and adjusts itself. The housing bubble expanded and expanded, until it eventually popped (as we see today). Oil is doing the same thing, and I'm certain gas prices will follow suit.

Give it time guys! The prices are going to come down. Just a matter of time.

That would be awesome! I'd love to see gas prices go below $3 a gallon. The question is, will they? I'll believe it when I see it. But oil going below $100 a barrel is quite encouraging. 8-)

I agree TF, ECU should be in the Top 25, they've earned that. VT lost to Kansas in their BCS game last year, we all know that. Thats why they were ranked 17th to start the season. Then they opened this season with a tough loss at ECU and are no longer in the Top 25. I will say that losing to Kansas in a BCS game was probably a little easier to swallow than WVU losing to PITT (of all people) and getting bounced out of the national championship picture. 8-) You're leaving out the part where they overcame the negativity of 49 other states who said they'd lose to OU (O who?) in the Fiesta Bowl 8-)

I hope his injuries are not painful but I hope he's out for the season.

Excellent question. I'm glad they spanked WVU like that....the VT loss doesnt seem that bad now although it hurt bad for a solid week. At least VT had a couple touchdowns. ....I can't believe it. Well, at least VT got beat as well. 8-) Nah, we just gotta shake it off and focus on next week.

After a while the preacher says, "Anyone who needs to be prayed for should come forward to the front at the altar." Bubba gets in line, and when it's his turn, the preacher asks, "Bubba, what do you want me to pray about for you?" Bubba replies, "Preacher, I need you to pray for my hearing." Thanks! That means a whole lot and I appreciate it. That's the general problem with people who attempt to handle situations. You have to be firm, but present arguments in ways that are clear and respectful.

That's the bad thing about student council this year at our school. Since it's a popularity contest, they don't accomplish much of anything at all. I vote Muddy as principal! Wait, maybe that wouldn't be the greatest idea...

Whoa now! I didn't mean at all to offend or stereotype you Hookemdown! Just making a point, and not intended at you. I'm specifically speaking of people who purposely trash their body. You directly said you at least give some sort of effort, therefore you're not at all in the category I'm speaking of. The only thing I'd argue about you with would be football brother! 8-)

I'm glad too. I'm looking forward to what appears to be a much better and organized school year. The second day went fine today and I imagine the others will follow suit.
