  1. Hmmm..........don't see it anymore either
  2. I almost went to Indian Mounds Sunday. Rode through the main launch there Saturday afternoon to do some boat trailer scouting and there were only a few trucks there. Met a couple coming out. It was late afternoon so could have been crowded earlier.
  3. Congrats on the camp. There are a few of us around there. The wind did not work well either day for me but its that time of year.
  4. Nope, had 1 close to 3 lbs, others were keepers to a little over 2. Not great but enough to keep me interested.
  5. First trip this year. Fished from 9 to 3 Saturday. 8 fish, 6 keepers. Sunday 7 to 11. 4 fish, 3 keepers. Had a few more on that did not get to the boat. Fish were much shallower than I expected, 10 feet or less. Water temps 51 - 54. There was a nice breeze on the lake.
  6. Post the dates ya'll will be there I'll be there the 20th,21st,22nd
  7. No problem Catt, we'll just follow Ya'll. Maybe I'll catch something that way. Just sent a message to confirm. Will only be able to get there Friday-Sunday but let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
  8. Unless something major comes up I'll be there. I'll be staying at my camper, its only a few miles from Fin and Feathers. As of now I can only get up there for Friday-Sunday. I will try to sneak in a couple of more days but it will be tough. If there is something I can help with let me know. Will probably have an open seat if needed.
  9. Ronnie, the whole lake is a question mark to me , but I'll keep after it.
  10. Somebody should be going this weekend, gonna be 2 more weeks for me.
  11. I should be there for Friday evening and the weekend. Just waiting on a tournament schedule to come out to be sure. I'll let you know when it is confirmed and would probably have an open seat.
  12. Water temps 40 and stained to muddy water,,,ouch. Don't know what happened to the font size............
  13. Welcome. I haven't been up there since before Thanksgiving so I am no help at all. I see the lake is up a couple of feet and I'm sure surface temps are approaching 50 or so. Looking forward to a report on the tournament as I usually fish out of six mile. Some folks that know what they are doing at Toledo Bend will be along to offer some insight.
  14. Happy New Year guys. I haven't been up there in over a month so thanks for the reports. I do feel a trip brewing and soon it will be every weekend.
  15. Yes, it is quiet. Wonder how much rain they are getting and what will that do to the water temp and fishing? I know it has a ways to go but I thought we were supposed to have a long cold winter. I'm sure some cold is coming but winter is getting shorter all the time now.
  16. Sure been quiet????
  17. Also, as Catt said. The lake can be tough in windy conditions. However it has launches just about everywhere around it so you can usually get out of the rough stuff by trailering to a different area.
  18. Some up north might consider flying in and finding some empty seats.
  19. I'm sure I'll be up there for the "road trip" unless I have a tournament down south.
  20. As always, great info. Think I will get off the deer stand and sneak up there on the warmer weekends this year. Thanks Guys!!
  21. Catt and others, on a note. How is the fishing during the winter? I'm talking on the days that get up into the 50's, 60's or even 70's between cold fronts.
  22. No problems Catt,,,The anchor should hold you just fine on the edge of the river channel so the 4 - 5 footers should not be a problem.
  23. There was a boat full of brush to touch up some blinds launching Saturday when I was picking up. Looks like it was a good decision to drain the water lines before I left. Guess I'll wait for the warm weekends from here on.
  24. As much as I don't like punching I guess I'll be doing some of it around six mile and housen.
  25. Thank You!! I'll be up there this weekend.
