Warm rain does wonders for water temps. Fish the windblown side, especially if it's the sunny side. Fish shallow. I'd Texas rig a creature bait (baby brush hog). Good luck

Gardner crappie fishing sucked this morning. Guessing the cold front drove them back off the banks. Last time I make that mistake.

As far as line memory? That makes way more sense.

So what applications to you use braid, but use a leader to "save" the braid? That has me scratching my head. I only see 2 reasons to use braid, for strength and to float. So if you aren't using a leader for transparency issues, what's the point in using braid at all?

That's awesome guys. Again, Congrats. We caught a lot of fish but never got a big bite. Pretty sure I had a crappie that would have beat our big bass.

Seems to be. Fish won't make that mistake again... unfortunately.
