I know it's a canoe/kayak deal, but can a guy fish from bank and follow the same guidelines? I'm in if so.

I don't believe by any stretch of the imagination they know exactly what they are eating. It is surface activity and small enough they can eat.

The rock point that comes out just down a cove from the marina (where the camping part is) is always hot later in the year. There are a couple hundred yards of bank fishing there if you can handle rocks. Fyi... there are copper heads at melvern.

There are a lot of bass clubs around including kansas buddy bass, East kansas bassmasters, backlashers, pleasant hill and so on. A Google search should land you with several different clubs. Check the rules, format and schedule for the one that works best for you.

Lol, been there done that one too. Min was off the back deck by the motor in the water at most 2" and a smallie just about tore off with it. That was when I use to fish the ned on the green machine, so it wouldn't have upset me too much to see it go. The rig I have for it now though... I'd probably go swimming.
