  1. Welcome aboard man. All info is welcome and appricieated. I'm in Gardner, so just down the road. Again, welcome to the madhouse!
  2. Those same techniques will be key in march there too.
  3. I'd say you're right. Little lakes will probably be ok

  5. Up until this last year I always used a medium heavy for both. I upgraded to a heavy for hollow bodies because the stuff I fish them in now is much much thicker.
  6. Jeez. It would take 2 fantastic tournaments added up to hit those weights around here. Most likely 3.
  7. I have this thing about obeying rules/laws though... call me crazy I guess.
  8. Holy crap man... that is a TANK
  9. Man... it was 72 here today and I'm not even saying it's almost spring... Kansas weather will smack us one unexpected time just cause she sucks! Did I mention 72 with 45 mph wind.... 35 mph tomorrow. Yah...
  10. Oh man!!!!! That's awesome. Very jealous. Lol.
  11. Anyone know how they feel about walking the banks and fishing there? We are going to stay at Port Orleans and looks to have some awesome bank access to a lot of water. Can't really find any info on disney's site though. From the sounds of it we are never leaving the property while we are there. Direct flight and being picked up to go on property, and then the same to get home.
  12. Duckduckgo???? Dang francho... glad you can fish and cook... It's duck duck GOOSE silly. Lmao Continue... lol
  13. 1) Never 2) Forever...
  14. That's a tank! Man you guys gotta start buying scales!!!!
  15. Sure I have, I've also have had fish that won't shake off. *insert C&C Custom Baits end insert*. Lol. Thought you'd like the keyboard whipped
  16. Hoping to change that avatar April 24th...
  17. No war-hoot this time but Clayton did break out the "Hold it up for da camera". Lol. Tins stuck a good greenie. Looks even bigger than it weighed coming out of the water head thrashing.
  18. Wow... I'm sure it gets old after awhile but reading those would be interesting for a bit. Lol
  19. This would harm me more on my home water than help me. Unless you are fishing a large, pro size lake where you can get on those large schools, I don't agree with you at all. And before I get key board whipped... how many times have you prefished better than you tournament fished? I know lots of guys, pros included that can prefish 20lbs, but come tournament day they are scraping for 10-12lbs. Just seems you are burning tournament water fishing like that. GJM
  20. I use the strip but only in cold water when you really have to let the bait sit there and suspend forever. I run it along the belly just under the bill or wrap around the first hook. I want a nose down, very VERY slow sink. As A-Jay said, baits today are better, so I don't use then nearly as much as I did 5 years ago.
  21. I'm gonna say 7lbs with the head of a 9lber. Gonna guess a summer fish?
