This tournament didn't set up for kvd. He fishes fast and there was nothing much for a crankbait or jerkbait bite. Obviously he can fish a spinner bait, but when you have the tm set at 80% and you are waking a spinner bait in the conditions we had on grand you are gonna crap out.

That lake was TOUGH this weekend. We were on it during and fun fished in areas that were away from the pros and it was absolutely brutal.

Asbestos was a great tool for insulating back in the day too.... how's that working for folks? Yall are nuts to jump on inhaling anything into your body when there is no medical research on it yet. Lol, my mistake. Motor guide is a good trolling motor and like all others, they have their value ones and their top of the line ones. Ran motor guide for many a years and put a beating on them in hydrilla and stump filled bone creek and it just kept on running.

The difference of battery life between a variable speed and 5 speed is night and day. The adjustments between 4 and 5 are spaced way too far apart. 5 speeds should basically be obsolete at this point.

The only difference I see between it and a frog is that it will probably skip under a dock or other cover easier than a frog with skirts. I trim my skirts down to about an inch, so my frogs skip just fine too. Lol
