  1. Yup. Don't think anyone is knocking the Ned, and I would call bull if they did. Lol. It produces from tiny to large and will give you plenty of bites and action. Would I rather drag a tube, grind a squarebill or walk a spook... dang skippy, but I can promise I won't waste a trip with few bites and be to stubborn to pick up Ned.
  2. Love a good Horny toad bite!
  3. Short answer, yes, you are wrong. Long answer, use the search feature and you'll find loads on frog color.
  4. Correct. Being bank bound, and and having 2 children getting to the point of swim lessons, sports, school programs, I'm extremely limited on the actual fishing I get to do. Particularly, competitive fishing (gets old kicking my own ass at celebration park, but I still do it lol).
  5. Fishing depression is starting to sink in... It's getting so close now I can hardly stand it. For the love of GOD!!!!! If fishing season doesn't hurry up and get here I'm gonna be LIVING IN A VAN, DOWN BY THE RIVER!!!
  6. I've got Villanova over OU as well
  7. Congrats buddy.
  8. Should be a good game. I'm eager to watch it
  9. Hell... I'll take her 8lb cousin...
  10. I'm sure it can be arranged. We will be down there Thursday morning thru Sunday. Will both have the ladies with us, but no kids. Blue and I will be fishing to save our butt from the damage our wife's will be doing at the outlet mall.
  11. You, me, blue, adam, chris, brian and 2500 other anglers. Lol
  12. Most people can't skip because they are afraid of getting a birds nest, so they try to prevent it but in doing that, actually make it worse. Stay back off the dock, have your reel tuned loose, and choose the right bait. You need to make sure your bait stays low so it can "skip" rather than stop as soon as it hits. Put a senko on a screw lock hook and t rig it. Easiest thing in the world to skip with. Practice practice practice.
  13. You too buddy. Happy Easter everyone.
  14. They better keep rolling. Nova won't give it to them
  15. Gonna get ya one of those 2500# great whites? Lol
  16. Yup. 10.11 on a spinner bait in 3' of water from the back of the boat no less. Think loz lake record is a little over 13.
  17. Lol, I'm just messing with you, I know the type you are having to deal with. Have actually replaced that type the last 2 jobs I've accepted. Started with welding (went to school for welding in Tulsa OK and graduated) but then decided I didn't want to travel and miss out on the whole husband and father thing. Ventured into maintenance with common sense and mechanical aptitude. Decided to pursue it a little more and now have a super fancy CFM (Certified Facility Manager) attached to my business card. Had I not married and had children, I'd still be burning miles, wire and rods. Really enjoy welding for the most part and do it more as a hobby now. Demolition derby cars, small projects etc.
  18. Go for it man! A 20 year dream is definitely worth pursing, and sounds like you'll have the time to do it! Wish you all the luck, and remember... Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good! lol GJM
  19. Welcome! Where about in Kansas? We have a pretty active group in the KC area.
