  1. completely missed point
  2. Some times I match colors and others I go completely different. Just let the fish tell you. Usually can process it quicker with 2 in a boat doing each.
  3. I have the 6 inch line thru trout in hitch. It's freaking AMAZING. Buddy was slinging the bluegill the other day and it looked amazing. I'll be getting one of those soon.
  4. I completely respect Clayton and sypathise with the situation he has to deal with. I also know people that are going down the same road as the 33 year old. My brother is one of them as a matter of fact. People can have a stupid moment 1 time with something like heroin and they a HOOKED for life. Of course the guy needs to get it together and get on the straight an narrow, but take it from someone who has watched in first hand, it's not that simple. And trust me when I tell you if they physically could turn it around, they would. I refuse to shame, spit or judge anyone when I haven't walked in their shoes... whether it be an addicted laborer or the suit and tie pumping it out to him. I suppose you are disgusted to homeless addicted vets too and figure they just need to "grow up". We will just have to agree to disagree on this. Tight lines and God Bless. GJM
  5. Thanks for the encouragement. Let me know if you ever lose that silver spoon.
  6. While I understand your frustration and yes... he brought it on himself, but please remember that is someone's father, son, husband, brother etc that is in that ambulance. Everyone makes mistakes and needs guidance. Lord only knows where I might be if I hadn't of had that.
  7. Super dumb... skin cancer rocks right? I always have one on to protect from the sun, cold or wind. In extreme summer I dip mine in cold water and wear it. Helps keep you cool
  8. Blue is turning 30! Break out the diapers and apple sauce! Happy bday buddy!
  9. Yup, it was a good trip for sure. Killed the fish on Thursday and Friday. Saturday was tough and Sunday was down right impossible. I missed the 3.00lb $500 bonus with a 3.01lb spot that I sight fished. Sunday I thought we jacked around and did something special. Dragging a 1 ounce arky jig on the end of a condo dock in 30 foot of water. Bounced off the docks anchoring cable and the road loaded it. Set the hook and the fight was on. Clayton leaped from the front of the boat net in hand and was ready only to see a 3lb channel cat wrapped in someone's fishing line... hooked with half a dozen crappie jigs and a clown rogue. That about sums up the actual tournament. Lol
  10. 2013 Stratos VLO. 189 I believe.
  11. Man... is it still winter or something? Some interesting threads lately.
  12. Yup. And it works.
  13. I'm with yall. I love fish and eat it regularly but I'd rather eat a petrified dog turd than trout. The only time I eat bass early in the year if I fish a private lake I have access to. The owner requests I pull 12-15" bass out once or twice a year. It's a spring fed, crystal clear lake.
  14. No need for snake pics sir!!! Lol. The pansy in me gets nervous.
  15. I don't think you are taking what Sam meant. I took it as people that spend any "free" moment doing something for themselves everytime (could be anything, not just fishing) rather than spend time with their family. Personally, I don't care what anyone else does as its none of my business. I was just shocked at the comment made by @bassh8er. I just think Sam's comment was misunderstood.
  16. Wow...
  17. Hey guys, gonna sell a Team Daiwa Light and Tough crankbait rod and thought I'd give you first shot. Cork has small chunk missing from it, other than that it's in good shape. 7' 3/16- 1.5 oz 8-25lb line -Model TL-701-1RB $50 if I don't have to ship. Text for pics
  18. If I happen to show some crack while I'm grabbing a 65lb kitty I think I get a day pass. Lol.
  19. Smallies on a spook has got to be the closest thing to heroin without the jail time. Once it happens, good luck going without it. Lol
  20. So sweet!!!!! Ready to do it again this weekend.
