  1. I pair it more with my set up. Straight shank flipping hook with a heavy or x heavy flipping rod and 50# braid. Heavy wire ewg on 15-20# fluorocarbon for t rigs and such on a medium heavy. Light wire ewg for 12# and under on a medium to medium light rod. I've always looked at the amount of force it's going to take to dig in the hook factoring in my rods backbone. The above has never failed me.
  2. Great fish. You have to cull 1000 15-20" fish per year? Man that seems like a lot of your big spawn fish.
  3. Fat cat newton for life!!!! BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE!
  4. Couldn't agree more. If I watch one of his videos I have to mute it.
  5. I'd like to see Hackney, evers, ike, Christie, Brandon P make it interesting.

  7. Celebration is a cake walk, shouldn't have a problem there.
  8. Don't swear off jerkbaits man, they are producers. Just takes a little work to get the feel for them.
  9. Was no fishing line. We are pretty certain it is the prop shaft seal. Praying like crazy it get's done in time for the Classic.
  10. Dear Lord baby Jesus help us!!!!
  11. I use 10# fluorocarbon on my jerkbait set up. Never really set the hook. Always just sweep into it, most of the time it's no more aggressive of an action than I already use for the action to work it. I do the same for crankbaits... really most treble hook baits.
  12. Not that I have any experience *cough cough* but that sure does look like a C&C Custom bladed jig! Congrats on the fish!
  13. Doesn't take much to scratch the itch buddy! GJM

  15. Sweet. Gonna be trying it out
  16. Hello 180 degree turn! Lol I've thought about this too. Can you keep it down with that much action/plastic or does it ride high in the column?
  17. Can't really beat a RC STX
  18. privacy.com My good friend. Safest way to shop online. My brother in law and his business partners created it.

  20. My two favorite after the pro blue is MSS and Kohoku Reaction
  21. I'll keep and eat crappie, wipers, walleye and flathead. I've eaten bass before and have no issue with them. Around me the length limit makes them money fish in tournaments... meaning it could be $100-$500 fish... that's a lot of big macs if ya get what I'm saying. GJM
