  4. Lol, you knew what I meant. My fingers are sore from all those trap eaters.
  5. Bluebasser and myself put it on them at a power plant lake today. Easily over 100 fish including LMB, SMB, whites, wiper, walter and a MONGO DORKFISH (drum). Blue has better pics, and a video as well.
  6. Put it on them in a bad way. Thought I had my 4lb curse broke in February... 3.14 on Drews sizzle jerkbait.
  7. Dropping the gauntlet tomorrow. Time to get on the board for 2016!
  8. If I have a bleeder I just try to get them back in the water as quick and painless as possible.
  9. Look for the snitches... (snitches get ditches) lol. In all seriousness J Francho nailed it.

  11. I let out a pretty good scream/roar when my wrench slips off a Sloan valve and I bust my knuckles on the block wall.... does that count?
  12. I can't stand it.
  13. I'm not a huge fan of punching with a Trokar hook. It's actually too sharp and goes through the bait to snag up to easily.
  14. Seconded. Will be dragging them Friday, if the largies even let it get to the bottom!!!
  15. Lol, you are only just beginning. Lol. Just wait... lol
  16. Just Texas rig it a little deeper than usual so the nose of the bait goes up the line a bit. Then you can screw your weight in it. Personally , I use either a nail weigh, or a small bullet sinker with a rubber insert peg to keep it snug to the bait.
  17. Hate those plastics... so much that I probably have enough to last the rest of my fishing life in the garage.
  18. I'm not sure why it blows your mind. It's pretty common for people to fish what they know, and avoid the rest. Meaning if you walk up to a pond and notice structure (wood, lily pads, tires etc) you are probably going to fish that first. If you take that away, you are fishing blind and having to basically fan cast and move around to locate what the fish are relating too. On a crowded pay lake that can be difficult. Look at it as less people in your way and new learning opportunities for you.
  19. Well that took a questionable turn...
  20. I love the style and with is was more realistic to do in jackpot tournaments.
  21. Best bet would be to start guiding part time most likely until you think you are profitable enough to go full time with it. Nothing about it is easy, and I would argue that it takes a long time before you are profitable at all. (not you in particular, a guide in general). Make small, achievable goals and and start working your way towards them. Too often I see people that want to go from zero to 60 in the snap of a finger. Take your time, do it right and set/achieve smaller goals along the way.
  22. Just wait until you fish them!
