  1. Looks good man. I like the long trailer type skirt
  2. Perfect point. It's a terrible thing, but the facts are the facts. The hazards come with the job. I went to school for welding and did that for several years before I got married and settled down. Not that I'm still not in a hazardous job. We all know what we sign on for, and believe me... Firefighters know that they risk their body's and lifelong health, as well of their lives, long before they sign up. I agree, something needs to be done, but what? This isn't something that will be solved in our lifetime. And if you solve one, you have the domino effect on other hazardous jobs. Very sad and complicated issue in short.
  3. Yah... not really sure how to be excited about that either...
  4. Rules of thumb refers to olden days when it was legal for men to punish their wives, as long as the stick was no bigger around than their thumbs.... JUST KIDDING BOYS! Had to throw in a boondock saints reference when I saw the opportunity. On a serious not Captain, welcome back to the addiction brother! Tons of information all over the site buddy. Just ask and someone will point you in the right direction! God Bless!
  5. That a locknivar boiler? Good job!
  6. If you are throwing a straight retrieve top water it will work. A popper will work, and buzz bait will work, and any kind of buzzing frog will work (horny toad/rage toad etc) You will not be able to walk the dog worth a crap. The action is seriously compromised by the sinking line.
  7. Yum zellamander in watermelon red. Culled with a kicker on a horny toad thrown over hydrilla holes in 1-3 FOW.
  8. My wife and I spoke of this, although we don't play. 10% to our church. Set aside enough for any education our 2 daughters could ask for. Pay all family debt off. No more, no less. Build our house (modest, not a multi-million home) New vehicles, new boat. Savings account the rest and keep working like nothing ever happened.
  9. Shaky head head will get you a lot of bites, if fished in the right area. Don't let people fool you though... It doesn't just catch small fish.
  10. For sure. Persistent to all get out! Dad said they would beat the heck out of the side of the truck or window to try to get you to let them in. Where I worked they were smart and completely disgusting at the same time. They would climb from truck to truck without every touching the ground... I caught a small group of them "cleaning up" with a garden hose behind our maintenance shop.
  11. Dad owns a trucking company... Those lot lizards are interesting. I was the maintenance manager for a large truck stop for a few years, had to run off numerous "dates" and their "protection".
  12. Exactly... must work because I think we placed in either top 3 or big bass every one we fished.
  13. You did look a little nervous on the way back to the ramp in those 2.5 footers spraying water all over you
  14. This for my 2 year old... Along with the theme song to Jessie from my 5 year old. Let's not forget about bubble guppies...
  15. That freaking cracks me up! What a little stud!
  16. especially on the way to the ramp thursday morning
  17. I drink a big ol glass of OJ every morning on the way to work. Good to go!
  18. This. I've been in situations (team type formats) where you are both at the front of the boat working a school of fish, or doing a follow up of a different bait. BUT, for the most part, common courtesy says from the windshields to the bow is the boaters. anything behind the windshield is the co-angler.
  19. Yup, Lot's of people do it and it can be deadly.
  20. Bingo. Should be the only argument needed right there folks!
  21. Not me. I personally believe those that don't allow there kids to be vaccinated selfish individuals. If you don't want it... Great, but don't make your kids suffer.
  22. Man that looks awful!!!
