Pretty sure I've watched you hammer fish on jigs you tied on the tailgate at the lake!

It's personal preference really. My number 1 bait a several years ago ( like 10-12 years ago) my favorite bait was the yum zellamander. If anyone knows that bait, it's a lizard, but had 2 ribbon tails. I would dominate if I ripped one of the tails off and wouldn't get bit at all with both tails. Later on in my years ( as I starting paying attention to patterns and such) I decided that most likely the key part in that was the rate of fall.

Get a smaller hook. Those look like the ribbits, my buddy uses a 3/0 EWG for those. I use hornet toads with a 4/0 EWG and rage toads with a 5/0 EWG.

Is there a jealous button? Before I die I will make the trip and get in on that!!!!

Looks like a day of cussing to me. That hook will land down almost every cast and snag every thing it comes across.

I'm puzzled... Am I reading this wrong??? If you paid $80 at 50% off then the original total would have been $160... Not $260 right?

Just thought it would be interesting to hear what "fishing myths" you guys have debunked. (I'm actually bored as heck at work... I work maintenance, had back surgery, and am now on a 10lb restriction....) Simple example would be a recently hooked fish or broken off fish won't eat again for a few days. I'm sure a lot of us have proven this wrong several times. What do you guys have?
