  1. Let us know when that pans out. Most quality jerkbaits these days have $4.99 worth just in hooks, rings, and the tungsten weight inside them.
  2. LC 78's and 100's are my all around go to's. I'll also throw a Megabass Vision 110 when I'm not in pike infested waters.
  3. While pond fishing last fall, the tail got bit off my last SIF. I looked at that little sucker and thought, I can fish this thing like a Fluke while twitching it. I managed to catch a few before it got too torn up to use anymore. It's definitely one way to use up those old baits.
  4. Really?! You'll have to fill me in on where these lakes are ?
  5. #1 and 1/0 VMC Neko hooks. I find myself getting better hookups with the little bit longer shank of the new Neko style hooks. I'm sure the new Owner and Trokar versions are just as good or better than the VMC version.
  6. The bait monkey thanks you for your curiosity. Now, go out and buy every brand and style, in 5 different colors each.
  7. What exactly were you thinking of using an 893c for? Because the 853c is essentially the same rod, just 4 inches shorter.
  8. There's a few PA guys on here. Not too many from the 412/724 area, but we're here.
  9. Is it bad that I cringed upon seeing that photo?
  10. I'd expect to hear nothing less about Siebert jigs. Mike does top quality work!
  11. Can we all be friends again? Or do I need to get more popcorn?
  12. I have one for my little LCP2 and it works great. Extremely cheap and works very well. I highly recommend them for smaller firearms for IWB.
  13. Whopper Plopper. Tokyo Rig. I'm still not buying into the Whopper Plopper snake oil.
  14. You're probably referring to a Sticky holster (yes, that's the actual name).
  15. I have the same wheelie. I carry it in a Winthrop leather OWB holster. I also have a Carhart style jacket that is a CC jacket with a hidden inside pocket. That combo is my daily winter jacket.
  16. Wow.... How did that rod not snap at this point?
  17. 734 if length isn't an issue. 704 if it is an issue.
  18. I won't be surprised if a few of the guys who went over to BPT come back to BASS next year if they're not successful with the MLF format.
  19. Since the beginning of time, man has always been obsessed with seeing "Whose is the longest?"
  20. Fluorocarbon and Braid. Buy a few bulk spools. You'll save yourself money in the long run.
  21. It's pretty simple. I just don't buy it. But then my direct deposit paycheck hits...
  22. I've had 3 of them since they released them in left hand. All 3 are going strong, just like every other Curado I've had over the last 20+ years. Welcome to the day and age of technology. A company can sell 20k of a certain product, and if 100 of them have a part fail and the customers complain all over the internet, you've got everyone thinking that a 0.005% failure rate means that a product is garbage.
