Probably my Favorite Topwater bait when the water has allot of "Chop" on it. I usually go with the 1/2oz Tenn Shad color or Sliver Black Back. As always switch out the stock treble hooks for some premium hooks. Dont forget to wait until you feel the wait of the fish before you set the hook.

Having never tried this nor taken any physics classes. My thoughts would be that with the added 30lb thrust TM and added battery weight that in fact you may go slower. The 30lb thrust TM isnt as fast as the 55lb thrust so it might have an effect of slowing you down just adding more all around drag to your boat. Just my thoughts... A GPS reading would easily put this to bed though.

I am looking into some new "cold weather" line for my jig rod. I usually use 17lb Pline CXX Xtra Strong, on my jig sticks. When the cold weather hits I usually go to 17lb BPS line. I'm curious how does the Yo-Zuri line handle in the cold weather. When I mean cold weather, I am from New Hampshire so cold is described ss fishing until the water gets hard.

Impressive, and on 6lb test line. Kudos for him landing it. I wonder how long the battle took to land that fish? I mean 43lbs on 6lb line, he must have been almost spooled a few times.

To be honest Ive had my boat for 6yrs and have never tripped the breaker. I have gone to an inline fuse setup and I still have no problems. Its like others have said its just a $20 part for protection for piece of mind in front of your $$$ TM. Id rather spend the $20 and replace a fuse or breaker if need be than buy a new TM.

Sounds like your all set and pretty lucky for your friend with the extra cable. That does get expensive especially running 2 lengths the length of your boat.

Forgive me if I am wrong but you should only need 1 circuit breaker/inline fuse in between the the TM and the power source on the positive lead.

If price isnt a problem I personally would go to a specialty automotive sound system store in your area and buy some 4awg battery cable and run it that way. The bigger/heavier the cable the less you will have to worry about losing power. As always dont forget to put an inline fuse or a circuit breaker on the positive feed in between the TM and the battery.

I was finishing up getting ready for work. I was watching CNBC look to see how much my mutual fund was going to tank that day. Im a big Jeff Burton and Mark Martin fan. I was really into it when he was driving the 99 exide battery car. Then Roush racing gave him the cold shoulder and he seems to be doing allot better now with a new team and sponser. I just wished Mark could have driven a full season since he had a nice lead at the start of this year. Burton is in the chase so I'll still root for him.
