I want to switch to braid on my president spinning reel. I'm new to fishing do I have to put mono on first as a backing to the braid or can I just put it right on the reel. I saw someone say something about this. Thanks

it's crazy how many fishing spots there are once you start looking. Places I've driven by my whole life and since I started fishing I've realized I could fish these little ponds. Two of the smallest ponds have the two biggest fish I've caught.

It's on 1A right near hanafords supermarket there's a little dirt road u drive down and it has a sign that say hawes brook.

I used a senko. I saw the fish inhale it right in front of me it was crazy. I never saw that happen before. It was so cool.

Thanks man it was a fight to get that thing in. It looked like a little pig jumping out of the water when it jumped.

I caught a 5.3 lbs largemouth tonite in norwood at this little pond you wouldn't even think there would be fish in.

I will get one of those lip less crank baits I got one but I don't think it matches what they're eating. Thanks for the tip. Hope too see you at buckmaster

I've fished at buckmaster a few times and actually that's where I caught my first largemouth that got me hooked on fishing. I live right down the street so anytime you want to meet there would be great. I'd love to meet someone that could teach me a few things I've learned just by reading stuff. Email me with ur info

Hey guys I'm from norwood, ma and just started fishing. I've been doing okay I've had the last two weeks of and caught probably 50 fish but all on senkos and two on spinnerbait.I also don't know anyone else who fishes so if anyone needs a partner or has any tips for other baits please let me know. I've caught them on senkos trick worms spinnerbait. Today almost everything I threw out there I was catching them.The last two days have been the best I've had.

I've been catching so many smallmouths I've caught 18 of them in the last two days.Not a single largemouth though.I'm not sure why it's just a little pond.
