Eastern Ma & New England Area Fishing Reports
Went to my favorite spot today in my kayak after work caught one right away on a frog then throwing the whopper plopper caught three more. First time there in my kayak this year and if it wasnt so windy I think I wouldve done much better. Ive had my best week yet this year with only being able to fish in the morning after work for an hour or two. Caught a 3lber on monday then a couple on Wednesday and a few more today. Hope everybody is doing well

Eastern Ma & New England Area Fishing Reports
I figured you were in Stoughton my girlfriend is from there. The place I do the best in Norwood is ellis pond its right near Hannafords it looks like crap but theres some big fish in there. Buckmaster pond in westwood I caught my pb there a month ago but mostly small fish. Ellis is dirty water so black and blue plastics I usually just throw a senko when i fish from the bank. And a frog when I go in my kayak theres pad fields all the way back so its hard to fish anything else. Pm if you want

Chances of catching a 10 pounder
It would be amazing to catch a fish that big in Massachusetts i caught a 6lber a couple weeks ago and thats the biggest I've ever caught here. Some places around me seem to have giant fish in them though my favorite spot one year i caught 6 fish over 5lbs and it was my first year fishing so i didn't know what i was doing. I cant wait to get on that pond tomorrow hopefully i break the record haha yea right but we can dream

Is the Ned rig just a small fish bait?
Definitely not a numbers only bait this was my first time using it and my first fish I caught with it. My pb on a hula stick that came in my mtb. I didn't expect a fish like that but I'm glad I tried the Ned rig finally now I have a tackle warehouse order coming and it's mostly Ned rig components. Love this bait

I haven't been fishing much but got out this morning and caught this one on the Ned rig it was on my last cast right before leaving. I also caught a little one on a shine glide swimbait pretty funny I guess big baits don't always catch the big ones cuz that fish saw that swimbait and a chatterbait go by it and didn't bite them. She was full of eggs with a bloody tail so I think it was my first bed fish. And the coolest part is that I caught it the same place I caught my first bass of my life a couple years ago.

Fishing Rage Craws like Toads
I have much better results using a rage craw then a rage toad I think it's just a little too much action sometimes.

Gamma Fluorocarbon?
I've heard Greg hackney say it's a thicker diameter than most other lines so 12lb is like 15lb and so on. From hearing their pros talk about it it sounds like good line.

Live Target Sunfish test
I didn't expect the bigger one to be so much bigger I got the smaller one because that's all they had then saw the bigger one at dicks yesterday and I was surprised how much bigger it was. Still going to get some thought they look so good.

Thanks for the invite. Better than Great Herring wow that place was amazing I can still see vividly that big fish I lost its going to haunt me for the rest of my life I'll remember that fish what bait I was using everything hahaha. It's pretty cool how many good ponds there are down the Cape area. I wish I had more time off from work to take advantage of them my aunt has a private pond I've never even fished and no one else does either. It's loaded with smallmouth and I have to try to get there this summer. Hopefully we can get together and fish I would love to learn from you again. Thanks Fishing Rhino

Heavy flipping hook vs Offset shank hook
I just learned how to tie a snell knot the other day and went out fishing for the first time this year and caught my first fish flipping ever and first fish of the year. I think I'm going to try a flippin hook with other baits like big worms I've seen pros who only use straight shank hooks for soft plastics I think it was Gary Klein.

Flukemaster no longer number 1 on YouTube
I like them all pretty much except 1rod he doesn't know enough to be trying to teach people how to fish. He'd do a lot better if he took the time to learn bass fishing maybe look at these forums as they are the best teaching tool I've ever come across. I learned everything I know by reading every article and forum on here.

Eastern Ma & New England Area Fishing Reports
Went out yesterday and today and caught one each day at the same pond. The first one about 1 1/2 caught it on a pit boss the second fish today I caught on a green and white spinnerbait about 2 1/2 lbs. So much fun setting the hook again.

2016 Tackle Room
I always love reading whatever it is that you write. Your tackle room is impressive. Your writeups about the quabbin are really good too. I want to try to get there this summer hopefully I'll see you there and maybe point me in the right direction

Whopper Plopper Hooks
Awesome bait and the hooks caught a ton of fish for me with no problems.

new spinning rod for senkos
Last year I was looking for a shaky head/drop shot rod and I got a Kistler KLX and now it's my favorite rod. It's a little too heavy for drop shotting but it works great for senkos and shaky heads. Just another one to add to the list.
