I hope that's exactly what I'm doing when I retire in 30 years. I just started fishing last year and I'm kicking myself for not starting sooner. I hope to be just like you someday not worrying about new lures and just enjoying the peacefulness that fishing brings.

Thanks so much for all these great videos I've been working to much to watch them but this weekend I will be watching bigmouth. Hook n look is an awesome show that's what got me thinking about documentarys.

I have never seen any about bass. With how popular they are to catch I would think someone would make one about them.I've seen them about every other animal but no bass. I would love to see what they do underwater all day. If anyone knows if there is one please tell me where I can find it. Kind of a weird question but I'd love to see this. Thanks guys

Mlf is definitely the most exciting fishing I've ever watched that scoretracker live changes everything. The way some guys fish for regular tournaments would get them sent home immediately.The best part of it is I'm definitely going to those lakes next year.

Hey has anyone ever gone to the New England fishing and outdoors expo? It looks pretty cool they're having a bunch of pros do seminars all next weekend. I think I'm gonna go on Sunday.

The last day I went out before winter I caught 5 fish in 15 minutes with one of these. 3 3lber and 2 2lber. A couple days before I caught a 4lber so I think they work pretty good but that's just me. They have pretty good hooks and a nice action.

I caught tons of fish on a kvd 1.5 in sexy shad so I'm not sure if the color is that big a deal. But I also caught a bunch on livetarget square bill in bluegill so I don't know. I just love throwing crankbaits anyway.

the one at the Dedham mall. They were practically giving stuff away. Tons of crankbaits for 2 bucks it was awesome. I think they said it was the last day too.

I just saved 123 bucks. That was awesome I got a Veritas for like 35 and a diawa lexa for 40 and tons of baits some for 1 dollar I got some live targets for 5 bucks. Wow thank you guys for the heads up.

I have a duckett spinning rod and I love it. Plan on getting a baitcaster next week. One thing I wanted to add was I think they're a little underpowered my medium heavy feels a little lighter I mean it's not a bad thing it's handled numerous fish over 5 but just something to keep in mind.

I caught my first bass on a purple power worm last year. And that was the first and last time I used them I don't know why I think I just read about to many other baits and wanted to try them all as fast as I could. Next season maybe I'll try to catch my first one on the same thing that would be kinda cool I guess since that first one has started an obsession with bass fishing. God I can't wait for spring.

I can't wait to get my kayak this spring when I get my bonus in march. Every penny of it is going into the kayak I'm not sure what I'm going to get yet I was thinking the wilderness systems 115 or 135. I think I saw some nucanoe kayaks that looked good. Every single day I think about what to get. What do you guys think I should get? My bonus should be around 3 grand what's the best one to get?

I just started fishing this past year so I don't have to many memories yet but my best day fishing was in my little inflatable boat with my mom on this little pond behind a supermarket that barely anyone fishes at. We had been there a few times but had never gone all the way to the back until this day. It was going pretty bad for the first hour then all of a sudden I got a bite and I pulled in a 5 lber then a few casts later another one even bigger that I almost lost this fish did not want to get caught it got wrapped up in the oars and I couldn't believe it when I got it in the boat. I can't believe in my first year of fishing I caught 6 fish over 5lbs. I'm completely hooked on bass fishing.

I don't know if Massachusetts is bad or good I've never fished anywhere but some ponds around my house and the charles river next to my doctors office. But in my first season of fishing I caught 6 fish over 5lbs I don't know if I'm just lucky or if I kinda know what I'm doing. I am so happy that I started fishing it's the best decision I've ever made. If anyone knows any good places to go in Massachusetts let me know cuz I'm going everywhere next season. I can't wait to get a kayak so I can get on the water.

I can't believe how much I miss fishing it's really an addiction it's all I can think about. I actually went to a pond just to looK at it. I'm going to bass pro this weekend and I think I'm gonna spend a g probably my whole paycheck and I don't even care I rather have new fishing stuff than eat food. Hahaha

Those are awesome looking chatterbaits I think that is my favorite lure to use.I found this price of crap one at Walmart for a dollar and caught a 5 lber on it as well as a bunch of others. I can't imagine what I'd be able to catch with those works of art.

Wow there's some cool answers to this question. I just started fishing and it's the best decision I've ever made. I don't drink or do much except work so it gets me outdoors when I usually would be watching tv. Yesterday I caught 4 fish in an hour and I was freezing my butt off. Now that's something I would never have thought I would do except I'm completely hooked on bass fishing. It's all I can think about.

I just had a good day before I go into work caught 4 all together 2 3lbs and another 2 about a 1.5. All on squarebills. I didn't think I would catch anything but it turned out pretty good for an hour of fishing.

Where do you buy the paints to do this? I would like to try this to keep busy during the winter.

This thread was awesome I just started fishing this year and I have so many ideas now for new stuff. I'm gonna be very busy this winter buying new combos for next season. I can't wait to get my first baitcaster and figure out how to use it. I think I'm gonna start with a Tatula and some model of St Croix.
