  1. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Its an expensive fix but I gotta believe he'll help.....alot of baseball to be played
  2. I use Yozuri Hybrid Ultra Soft #12......for braid I would use Power Pro or Sufix.
  3. I love my "old technology" Loomis and St Croix rods. That having been said the Airrus rods may indeed be using new technology. I have never used one but they sure are saying great things about them. I hear the owner of the company is really a great guy also. See this link........http://www.rodsbyairrus.com/rods_about.html
  4. Good choice and an excellent value. You can't go wrong with this one
  5. 11 runs to the Bosox tonight...............I think we gotta bring back Ruth, Gherig, Dimagio and Mantle to score enough runs for this depleted pitching staff......its not funny any more :'( OK I know you Yankee detractors are lovin it....what can one say.....I just hope we figure it out soon

Hey Muddy....I have a good friend that says I'm the only hillbilly he knows from New York City He said that because I was the scoutmaster of a boy scout troop and loved the outdoors here in Tennessee (backpacking, hiking, whitewater canoeing etc) and also have become a big fan of the Vols. I kind of like being the only hillbilly from NYC (can't take the city out of me either but I sure do like being in the good old outdoors) You could be like the only cajun or country boy from NYC We got it made....everyone can become a hillbilly or country boy but not everyone can be from NYC!!!!
  13. Redline, that was a very thoughtful gift to a most deserving and great guy. Hats off to you for doing that!
  14. Yes Please. Thanks!

An incredibly senseless tragedy. There is no answer to this but why do people just lose it like this. It makes no sense. Prayers to all affected by this.
  16. UH OH!!!!! Wang, Pavano and Mussina out........Rivera gets dinged for a two out homer by a little guy.......Jeter's got 6 errors..... Glad there are 150 some games to go
  17. I have one and am pleased. It is a good reel for the money in my opinion, especially when they go on sale which is often.
  18. I went to Northern Saskatchewan last year in mid August. We used a large (I think 1 oz) Johnson silver Spoon trailed with a pink or white 6" Sluggo. It was a great trip.......enjoy your time there!
  19. Darn good deal Muddy.....I bought one on my way to the Fork at the Dallas BPS and paid full price :'( Mine is a 7' med.....so far so good.....I like it.....now I need to find a 5 pounder with it! Good luck with yours and enjoy!
  20. I have a Revo SX and have been very pleased with it so far.
  21. Sol for lighter finesse type applications Viento for Jigs, t rigs etc... Choose depending on what you will be mostly using it for. Viento may be a better choice for all purpose use.
  22. Enjoy the new gear Bassassasin......Congrats on the purchase from a fellow Yankee fan

Ouch LBH, hope your day went better and you picked up those meds. Bummer Avid, hope this next surgery puts it all behind you. None of it's any fun. It makes me feel how blessed I am. To lighten things up and hopefully give folks a chuckle or two I think about some times I have a problem with my colostomy appliance and it's a ways off before I can take care of it. I get frustrated but at least there is no pain. Instead it's a "poop & stink a thon" . The funniest was at a corporate outing at a really fancy hotel that had a bowling alley. We were having this bowling tournament and I went up to throw my gutter ball when all of a sudden the bag gave way and it was "holy sh.....t" all over my pants and down the leg . I had to excuse myself from the tournament and make my way clear across this big hotel to get to my room with everyone along the way holding there nose and looking at me like I was some sort of freak. Then I had to get the laundry to take the clothes to clean them....hate to think what they thought. Anyway I just thought I'd post this in hopes it will bring a chuckle for everyone, after all is said and done I always find these episodes pretty amusing and have to laugh at the situation. I have a few more funny ones that I'll post fron time to time in hopes that it will bring some humor to the thread......they say laughter and smiles are the best medicine.....Good health all and keep on smiling!
  24. Hmmmmm....so the boss wants to know when he's gonna be a free agent ;D He sure did look awesome!
