I have never broke a rod while in normal use. I did see Iacanelli break one on a hook set. He's a maniac!

I have great success with traps in clear water. Tennessee shad color produces best.

I like the Lews Custom Speed Sicks and the Team rods. I have 3 of them now. Today I was at Dicks, they had a few Ghost rods. First time I've seen or held them. The blank and guides looked ok and the rod felt well balanced. I did not like the grip or reel seat at all.

Picking winners and losers. Not cool. There should be a protest. They're interfering with the Eco system.

Definitely a lot to choose from. I want some 1/4 and 3/8 all wired skirts. Looks like I'll be waiting 2 weeks to get them.

He's telling us the rod had a problem.. No big deal. Then he's saying exactly what the company did about it. Maybe he did step over the line a little. Not for me to decide. I don't own a Duckett Rod.. If I do pull the trigger it will be for a White Ice. I haven't any heard complaints about them.

I have one particular Lews BB1 that's just superb. This was a tough decision.

When in doubt punt! For fifty bucks why worry, buy from a dealer you know for peace of mind. Dealer service counts too.... Ask Mike at DVT if he can get you the reel and what the price will be.

I left sooner than I thought I would have so I never called Mike or placed an order. Will do so on Monday. I'm leaving in the morning at 5:00am so i'm gone for the day. Went today and smoked them on a rattle trap.. 7 nice bass and a crappie for good luck! Two over 3#'s.

Has anyone used this mount? Is it any good? It's made or at least offered bt Navico. I'd like to get the transducer off the bottom of the trolling motor and put it at the front of my canoe. I've seen the magnetic mounts. They look great but they're a hundred bucks. The suction cup mount is fifteen.

Try white with gold and loud with a big action I'd throw a White skirted spinner bait with gold blades.
