I'm replacing my Minn Kota Endura Max 55 prop. Seems to me the new Minn Kota Props can't withstand all that much. They wear quickly and go out of balance. I'm considering the Kipawa prop. Apparently they are made with better and stronger materials. Is anyone out there using a Kipawa on there T motor? Opinions appreciated. My canoe:

An all around rod should be an MH.

The Supreme XT is great as is, you won't need upgrades. Check eBay. Better prices on XT reels.

See what you can workout with American Legacy Fishing or Tackle Warehouse on a purchase and possible return. The specs on the new Ardent Apex Edge reel and are good and the reel looks great.

Honest answer, save your money. Buy a higher end reel. Bearings aren't going to make a big difference in that reel in my opinion. I own 2 Patriachs and an XT. Great reels.. The Supreme is a very good reel too. You could buy one for less than 100 bucks when the time comes. Good Luck and happy fishing.

Thanks for the tip Darren, I was using the uni yesterday and it was big. I'm switching to the albright.

I just started using braid. I put in on my pitching rod/reel. Tied a flouro leader and on my second cast I nailed a 3 pounder. The hook set was immediate. I was floored. I'm not looking back!

I just shipped Mike two Lews Tourny Pro's. Can't wait to feel all the goodness in the upgrade. Especially with the pitching reel.

I used a uni knot on 65# braid with 20# P-Line leaded. It worked great but it was kinda big. a Pain in the butt.

I don't think it's the line. It sounds like it's probably the reel settings aren't set correctly and is causing the problem.

I'm fishing out of a canoe and I travel in a small car. It just to long. 7' was a stretch.
