  1. PM Delaware Valley Tackle. Mike will accurately answer that question. I'm sending Mike one of my reels for a super tuning.
  2. I use a Lews Custom Speed Stick with a Tourney Pro. Here's a link to the best deal you'll ever get on a high end rod and reel. http://www.americanlegacyfishing.com/lew-s-team-lews-hm85-million-graphite-casting-rods.html http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/157293-team-lews-hm85-rod-sale/
  3. Congratulations!
  4. MIne is on all the time. If I'm in shallows I'm looking for holes, drop offs, rocks, weed lines.. so I never turn it off. Although I'm without it for a while. I had to send it back under warranty. It shuts it's self off about 3 times every hour. I'll make do with my Navionics app. Depth finders/sounders and Maps aren't ever going to stop me from being instinctive first.
  5. I wouldn't expect the LFS to be as good as the T Pro. You can buy a T Pro on American Legacy Fishing for $139.00 right now. They have deals on Shimano to.
  6. Less direct with shipping.
  7. You're a sandwich! a jigger on a Rod Roll.. Congrats again and again!!
  8. Cool, I'll take pics of mine and post them.. You can drewal a little in anticipation. lol
  9. How ironic is that! lol John...
  10. I agree, I've been tempted myself. I just don't need another rod right now. I do feel the pain though! Mine is showing delivery for tomorrow. Did you get a shipping email confirmation?
  11. Not a bad rod for thirty bucks. Good starter rod. You should start a thread so the guys on a smaller budget can take advantage of it.
  12. Ardent butter works pretty good. Any other suggestions would be appreciated,
  13. I just bought my first spool of braid. I opted for Sufix 832 65#. I'll be using it stricking for pitching and flipping. I like a heavier diameter line for this type of fishing. The 65# is .17 I had been using 20# P-Line CX which is also so .17, I think I'll be fine with it. It's very limp braid.
  14. I have never used them. I like knowing the only thing between me and the bait is line. I also like the feedback from tying directly to my baits. I wouldn't even consider using a swivel or snap.
  15. All good replies, Thx.. I want to get the most out of my Pitching reel. I'm looking for super smooth and effortless pin point accuracy. I'm going to send it to Mike and have him do his thing. I'm shipping one of my Tourny Pro reels to him Tuesday. Then another and another and another. Can only send one at a time this time of year.
  16. Don't tell her how much it cost. Tell her how much you saved by buying it!
  17. That is a very accurate statement..
  18. The handle on my Lew 7' Custom Speed Stick was a bit long for me so I'm having it cut 2.25". I'm picking it up from the tech on Sunday morning. If I find the rod is still a bit long over all I'm going to have him cut the tip back 3-4". I fish standing in my canoe so the angles worked against me. If I was in a bass boat the rod would have been fine as it was.
  19. Fantastic, I opted for the 6'6'MM. Sure is a great deal! Congrats.
  20. What have you had done to improve your reel? Was it worth it?
  21. Not many left in stock. Man did they go quick.
