  1. I never asked but I bet they would. I call and find out.
  2. I used P-Line Floroclear 15# today on two of my reels. I had zero issues and it casts great. I'm sticking with it. I also want to try the CX line, Made in Japan and fairly priced.
  3. I bought a Fenwick HMG. 6'6" 3/8-1oz. I can't say enough good about it.. Better than I expected. All the positive reviews I read about the Fenwick are true. You all should try one. You won't be disappointed. In fact I'm going to sell a St Croix Premier 1/4-3/4 and replace it with another HMG with the same rating. Buy one! If there's ever an issue with it which I doubt very much I can go back to Dicks with it or contact Fenwick. I'll give Duckett another look next year along with Falcon
  4. On another note: I bought a 1000 yard spool of Seguar Invisx. Here's my take on the line. It casts well... Then it breaks at some point other that at the knot. Over and over and over again. I emailed Seagaur in NY about the problem. Here's what they said: "It's your fault. You're either using a line that is to lite for your rod or you back lashed it and kinked the line". Each time this happened over and over again it was new line on the reel spool. I kept changing it out hoping I could get by the bad line. In short: Seaguar Invisx is Junk and the Company Blows. $80.00 down the drain. So here's my plan. I'm going to video tape a Vikings Funeral.. First the pile of Junk, then the lighter fluid, then the match. I'll post it in a couple days! Let's sea some Invisx up in flames! Bring the "marsh mellows"
  5. I just printed a label for the Super Duty. I noticed it as I turn the handle slow is has a bit if a oval shape to the rotation so the crank shaft or whatever is not perfectly straight. Could be something small but I'm not dealing with it. I want the reel replaced. I have 5 other Lews and none of them are like this. Who ever put this one together was smokin something that day.
  6. Just thought of something positive. You have a great chatter bait reel. lol My new Lews Super Duty was a little noisy and just felt geary, I opened it up to take a look. No Grease anywhere.... Somebody wasn't paying attention when it was put together. Dah! On a brighter note they didn't forget to put a drop of oil on the spool axle.
  7. Hey guys, This Lews Tourny Pro is one sweet little reel. What a peanut.. Casts a mile, smooth as new ice and it has tight tolerances, nothing lose about it. I'm buying another one.
  8. Are the New Micro Magic rods still having the problems last years and prior models have? I was going to buy a 6'6" MH. I'm not so sure now, I don't want to buy a problem.
  9. You're right............ Any advice on how I could get a date with Halle Berry?
  10. Lews has a very good design team and there quality control is super. I don't think I've ever seen a bad review on a lews reel. Keep in mind the rods they offer these days are spot on too.
  11. All the answers were correct. It's loaded with pre spawn bass. Good answers! Even DogBone was right.. lol
  12. John, I emailed Tom Ashby to let him know what had happened. He's the owner. Great guy to deal with. Send him the email.
  13. I signed on for the discount, it was emailed to me. Then I went in the site and entered it at checkout. It worked fine for me. Send tashby@americanlegacyfishing.com an email. Tell him what happened. He'll should be able to help you out.
  14. Thx for the information.
  15. The one next to the Super Duty is a brand new Tournament Pro. They shipped together. Will use them both tomorrow for the first time!

  17. Do you want a right or left hand reel? If you sign on for the news letter you get a $25.00 discount certificate. deduct $25.00 from any of the reels you see on the website. I bought a Super Duty and a Tournament Pro. They arrived today. Awesome! The Super Duty is a kick Butt reel.. http://www.americanlegacyfishing.com/fishing/fishing-reels/casting-fishing-reels/freshwater-casting-reels.html?p=2 pm sent
  18. Check out Johnson Beetle spins in 1/2oz at FishUSA. You can use them as they are or put a tube or swim bait on them. I catch a lot of bass with them. I also like 3/8-1/2 oz Terminators and anything Strike King. Cranks, I like Rapala , Norman, Xcaliber, Bill Lewis, Bomber, KVD, Live Target and on and on. So many good ones these days.. Don't forget to get some jerk baits.
  19. A good all around rod for bass would be a 1/4oz to 3/4oz rating.
  20. My area weather has been lousy for 4 days straight, Today was cloudy but the air temp was about 61 and the wind was mild so I went fishing. I hit the water about 3:00. I landed 5 in 4 hours. Water temps had dropped 4 degrees since my last time out. I was surprised to get action. All the bass I caught were held up close to banked shorelines. Most hits were 3 feet off the bank. It was a good day. I was throwing a black/green stripe beetle spin. Jigs and swim baits didn't produce.
  21. I've never used braid line. I'm seriously thinking I'll try it on a Super Duty Reel. What differences can I expect from the braid as compared to 20# Flouro?
  22. I'm just not a Shimano fan John.. In the guitar world custom or very high end guitars are referred to as boutique. When I see a reel that has a Farrari-ish look about it boutique comes to mind. lol
  23. I'm going to call Daiwa and see how long it would take to get one.. I want the specs too. That reel would look great on a Falcon Rider20.
