Sniper And Invizx
That makes good sense. I just bought my first spool of braid. I went with Sufix 832.. I like the feel of 16-17 so I opted for 65#. Hope I did the right thing. I'll be using it for pitching. Seagaur lost my business....... Farcem!

Braids Tried So Far
I just ordered a spool of 832. I don't like thin line so I bought the 65# which is about the same as 17#. Never used braid before.. I'm looking forward to trying it. If I went to heavy let me know your thoughts. I'll be pitching with it. Nothing more.

Please Help Me Pick A Baitcaster.
You can buy a Lews Tournament MG on sale.. Great reel in a tiny package. As for rods 6'6' is a good start. Check out the Tech rods at Dicks a Berkley Shock or maybe a Bass Pro rod to go with the reel. If you're on a lower budget get the Black max reel and a Berkley Shock MH rod and go have fun with it. Cost will be under 100 bucks.

Prescription Sunglasses For Fishing
I'm sticking with the MJ's.. My eyes are extremely sensitive. They're the only lens that keep my eyes from burning and watering.

Sniper And Invizx
I've been fishing for 50 years. Fished BASS in 80's and 90s in the North East. I'm no rookie. .... Brand new invisx line, second cast breaks off mid way.. over and over.. emailed Seaguar. they responded by telling me it was caused by a backlash. They blamed me for bad line. There are post all over forums about how bad invisx is.. I'll never invest in Seajunk line again. There are as many guys who hate the stuff and been scr*wed with it as I have. They got the same response email I got. I offered to send the line to them for evaluation. They ignored that........

Deformed
This one gets yelled at a lot, he has a permanent pout face.

Sniper And Invizx
I'd like to try 16# Sniper.. I'll buy some this week. Before I bought the Seajunk I was going to buy Sunline Reaction. They didn't offer 1000 yard spools so I passed. BIG mistake.

Most Sensitive Co Polymer Out There?
I'm not familiar with Mccoy I have used YZ. I'm having good success with P-Line CX. Mike, What didn't you like about P-Line? Which lines did you try?
-
Sniper And Invizx
I'm using P-Line CX now. The line does everything well. You may want to give it a try. Invisx was an absolute nightmare and Seaguar owns up to nothing negative. I will never buy Seaguar line again nor will I endorse them positively in anyway. Bottom line is they took $100.00 from me and laughed all the way to the bank. They're line sucks and so does the company.

Which Pline?
I had the 15 on a Lews Tounament Pro 6:4:1 and a St Croix Premier Rod. Light cranks and spinner baits. The 20 was on a Lews Tournament Pro 7:1:1 and a Fenwick HMG I was worming with it. The other 20 was on a Pflueger XT 7:1:1 and a Lew Magmun One Bass I was using for jigs. I ran the line out on all three and reeled the line back in to get a nice tight spool. I'm doing this religiously now on all of them. No line digging after doing it. It was flawless on all three rods and reels. I'm sold on it. Caught 3. Hooks sets were spot on and the line offers great feedback from the baits and it casts silky.

Which Pline?
I used 15 & 20 lb test CX moss green yesterday and today. I was very impressed with the line. I'll keep using going forward.

Tired Rod
Thank's for that information, It must be the Yo Zuri line I used with it, a boat load of stretch..I'll re spool the reel and see how it goes. The bend test results must have been typical of the blank. Although it always seemed stiffer to me. Like someone else mentioned I must be getting very use to my newer and heavier action rods.

I bought a 1000 yard spool... Junk all the way thru. Customer service was garbage.

Most Sensitive Co Polymer Out There?
I used PLine CX today for the first time. It's a quality line and priced very reasonably. Made in Japan. I like it.

Tried P Line Fluoro
I'm using CX, I was using Floroclear. I'll have to give the fc a try. I wasn't thrilled with seaguar red or invizx at all. It sucked!

Lews Team Lite Speed Spool?
Cool reel.. Congrats.

Tired Rod
The rod is 15 or more years old Mike. It has been taken care of. I'd say I got every cent out of it. I'm actually bummed. It was a great rod. I sent you an email earlier tonight.

Pitching/flipping Setup
If you have near 500 to spend buy a used canoe and a trolling motor. Get where the fish are!

Which Pline?
I used the CX today, cast well, no friction. No problem with knots, not as nearly as much stretch as Floroclear. I pitched into laid down trees most of the day. I didn't see or feel any Knicks or chafing. It coils a bit but that didn't cause any issue. I Like it and will continue to evaluate the line. I will add this, It's 100% better than Invisx.

Tired Rod
I have a rod I've use for years. Recently I'm missing a lot of hook sets while using it. I checked the bend and the strength of the rod at different guides going down the blank and it's definitely weakened. I think it's time to retire it. Have you had a rod weaken to this degree? This one is an IM7 blank I bought when IM7 was the best out there.
