Bank Guys, Are You Using A Bag, Box Or Backpack?
I use a tactical vest with full web-gear, and storm the bank with my high capacity baitcaster, in a full out amphibious assault.

Does Anyone Else Love Fishing A Silver Spoon
I love those spoons. Havent caught anything with them yet, but I can see their value in the water. Do any of you fish them with a trailer?

Pre-Rigging Trailers Before Fishing?
I always pre-rig trailers, and only remove them as needed. Ive found that excessive replacement of trailers causes unnecessary damage to the plastic. Ive encountered no other problems by doing this.

I brown bag it.

Grubs
I like them on the back of a Swim jig, Chatterbait, and Buzzbait. Or If on a ballhead, I like to also attach a beetle spinner to it. Never tried em weightless before....hmmm.

Lures You Use But Don't Catch Fish.
Would be easier to list the baits I DO catch fish on. > Spinnerbaits > Buzzbaits > Swimjigs > Chatterbaits Honorable Mention > Frogs - Only because I at least get a lot of missed strikes on the frogs, but no hookups yet. That is all....so far But Im ok with this, because it helps me to simplify my gear, and thats what I want.

Uptons Straight Tail Worm 13"
Ive been contemplating trying some of those. But, I dont have much of anything to add, except for hooks. Just my personal preference, but for big worms, I tend not go any less than a 5/0 offset worm hook. But thats just me.

Grande Bass Flash?
I use them...I like them....havent caught anything with them yet. But I havent caught anything on any of my soft jerkbaits yet. PROs Anyway. Id say their action is on par with a super fluke(if not a bit better), but I feel the best attribute to these particular fishies, is their fall when you kill em. Their fall rate is slow, but that tail still has nice subtle movements as it drifts down through the water column. This thing dies better than any other soft jerk bait that Ive used. And, with the hinged body, and flexible tail. You can even work this thing super-slow, and still looks nice. It excels in its subtleties. The body is a little chunkier than a super fluke, so it has more weight for better casting. CONs The nose. The only thing I dont like about this fish, is the nose. The nose seems too slender, making the use of an offset hook occasionally prone to easy tearing. I might actually cut some of that nose off next time, or try a screw-lock hook.

Quick Question About Trailers
Trailers on.. Buzzbaits: Yes, I like large curly grubs. Spinnerbaits: No, Im just not a fan of the idea. Besides the blades are more than sufficient for the presentation But overall, trailer or no trailer, the fish will still get at them.

Lft Craw Worm Vs. Yum Craw Bug
Im thinking I might go with Venom Lures Imitation Craw. Its basically the same thing, but Im liking their colors better.

Post Your Veterans Day Fish
HAH....Thats awesome Jay.

Lft Craw Worm Vs. Yum Craw Bug
If thats all, then I think I'll just stick with the Crawbug. I can Texas rig that thing just fine. But I typically make an internal for it, or use it as jig trailer. My internal rig consists of a 3/0 worm hook with 1/4oz twist weight impaled on the offset of the hook.

Post Your Veterans Day Fish
Got to get out and fish for about 45 minutes today. Might be my last cast for the season. Closing it out with with a decent 19" (4lb?) Fish. Caught on a $1.35 Spinner bait. Anybody else get a Veterans Day fish? Post em.

Lft Craw Worm Vs. Yum Craw Bug
Thank you for that. Im curious if there are any advantages to having the longer tail?
-
Lft Craw Worm Vs. Yum Craw Bug
Perhaps I shouldve posted pictures. Both craws are nearly the exact same, except one has a lengthened tail, and one does not.

Big Mouth Forever

Lft Craw Worm Vs. Yum Craw Bug

How Do U Fish A Jig In Weedy Bottomed Northern Lakes/ponds?
No problem. the first thing you do is swim down there to the bottom with a shovel, and dig all those weeds out.

Soft Plastics As Topwaters
Pretty well, nearly any soft plastic that has action, when fished weightless, can be used to to buss the surface.

Soft Plastics As Topwaters
(off-topic)Rage Shad on a swim jig is pretty cool. I like to trim the body down to a grub-like shape to fit better on a jig. Havent caught anything with it yet, but it looks great and thumps great.

I agree with everything above, However, just FYI....casting a C-rig can be problematic when bank fishing amongst the bushes and trees.
