  1. Shimano/G. loomis service was a little backed up in 2020 like everyone and their communication isn't always great if you have a long wait on a specific model but they always come through! Killer company
  2. I have fished both series. The expride light plus and Daiwa BLX light are both killer rods. You probably could do smalller swimbaits but for me they were a light drop shot rod , very small jig heads, mirco cranks ect...I like SC but these are lighter rods than their ML. Expride is hard to beat at its price pt.
  3. Hands down tatula. Very impressive rod for the $
  4. Daiwa tatula, Loomis E6X, Zodias, SC avid or victory. Dobyns...remove from list. These options you will enjoy more no doubt.
  5. My favorite way to fish and I only use spinning for it. Mod-Fast spinner is a 6'-11" Megabass Valkyrie. Killer rod for 110's, x-rap, pointers, ect...
  6. This is going to vary for each angler......for me its 6'-10" - 7'-0".
  7. I remember few years back thinking....why would anyone spend $200 on polarized sunglass for fishing. I picked up a pair of Costas and I haven't fished the water without them since. You see more fish, they protected me from getting hit in the face dislodging baits, you can see critters like stingrays when SW fishing before you step on them. My favorite piece of fishing gear by far.
  8. Hey, I own Stradic, Ci4, Tatula LT, and one new Kage. All have been great but stradic is the best for sure and also does double duty for SW. 1000 is a great choice for UL.
  9. Your wife is just going to swing the door open the first chance she gets.
  10. I had to sell all my kistlers to buy 9mm ammo.
  11. Shoot... what about buying the same combo after selling it 3 times? lol
  12. Plan on 2-3 week wait on certain packages. Rod tubes have been sitting at several locations with no tracking updates.
  13. looked at 2 piece rods several times... Daiwa tatula cork models SC avid x or regular avid has a couple good ones G. Loomis e6x has a few two piece models Shimano crucial has a ML 2 piece on the big aution site for sale listed right now. Good luck!
  14. All are great choices. Addermine would be my pick. Super comfortable handle. Great sensitivity and balance.
  15. Go pick up a MB Orochi XX flatside special. Rod can do all these.
  16. 2500 hands down and for the rod - Shimano zodias, St. Croix avid, G. Loomis e6x, Daiwa tatula, St. Croix premier
  17. When it comes to St. Croix I typically look for their older discontinued models. When it comes to the handles and reel seats I wish they would K.I.S. They make great rods but pick components that are not always comfortable.
  18. I like fishing DS and have fished it in a lot of different depths and situations. My favorite is shallow near docks or out in deep water 25-40 ft. I think people can certainly complicate this technique. I like fishing fast so its hard to slow down and let this work on certain trips but it does get bit and by lots of species. Doesn't take much movement and you can drag or do slight lifts. Experiment with different worms, small tubes, wacky worms, minnow profile plastics, and swimbaits. Keep at it and find where those fish are holding.
  19. Hook up did but looks like they are out.
  20. Probably but the hardener I used says Hard as Nails right on the front. I think what you have there would work
  21. Out of your choices the Steez AGS. 13 fishing would be my last pic.
  22. That's it. Should be clear. Not sure what is actually is but that's it
  23. Don't use epoxy unless its something you buy from mudhole. Sally's is women's fingernail product that works great and dries clean. Recommended by DVT on here and works better than any epoxy. Dries nice and looks really good for small repairs like this.
