3.5" To 5" Soft Paddletail Swimbait Setup ?
Depends on how you want to fish them. Are you fishing for schoolies, or finicky spots in deeper water... Or are you throwing them in the veggies?

Td-Z Conundrum
I find that used reels have more sentiment. I would like to have my Dad's Corsair wish was rarely used though. Smooth as butter. It's heavy, but it may make a decent big bait reel. In terms of used, I would like to get my dads old Browning Midas 6. He loves that reel. I hope I can find parts for it, but I dought it. That, and his old ProCaster.. I kinda want to trick it out though.

Good Crankin Stick& Reel
- Jerkbaits
X Rap is good for smallmouth because of its bright colors and action.mit can be good when the fish get a little more active as well. I really like xCalibur jerkbaits though.- Winter Sucks
Gawking at the fish counter of my local grocery store... Lol- Places To Fish Near Ocala, Fl?
Kissimmee chain of lakes is right in your neck of the woods. These are big water, bait if their are some no wake zones they could be productive.- Pre-Spawn & Spawn Bass Behavior
Definitions for reference Prespawn: Bass moves from winter haunts to spawning grounds, usually in stages. Spawn: Bass lay eggs on beds Alright, so PreSpawn is like traveling a highway. Fish wil travel along structure to spawning grounds and stop along staging areas. They also begin to feed. In my area they feed mostly on Shad and some crawfish. To target these fish I search for them with a shallow flat sided Crankbait, jerkbait, and small swimbait on a 1/4 oz jig head. I then pick apart areas where I've found them with a small jig and chunk trailer. I want the jig to be compact, and not to have too much action. Once fish reach their spawning grounds they begin the spawn. They are bedding. They are focused more on spawning then feeding, and so you have to get at their protective instincts to catch them. A large flippin tube or lizard looks like it is invading their nest and poses a threat, so they will strike out of instinct.- Dressing Warm?
I know fingerless gloves are good in terms of not impeding casting/fish handling... But in terms of keeping you warm they are pointless IMO (no offense, I'm sure you like them..mot each his own).. But you are still losing all that heat through your extremities- Dressing Warm?
A hoodie lol- Help- Bass Boat And Motor--- What Do You Think?
I don't have a lot of knowledge on the subject, but I can say that a 50 may be a little under powered... You could maybe a try a smaller aluminum boat that still has lots of features?- Transducer Mount For Kayaks
Interesting. I believe the Ascend yaks already have scupper holes for transducers... I don't know a whole lot about electronics..- How Will Water Temperature Affect The Suspend-Ability Of A Jerkbait
Interesting point. Maybe they were made so that they suit the temp and activity of the fish?- 3 Weeks Near Atl. Georgia, Bass Fishing From Shore Or A Kayak, Any Suggestions On Where To Fish?

You sir just opened a can if worms for those who collect old original floaters.- Jerkbait For Smallies
Which one? The KVD?- Good Crankin Stick& Reel
There a multitude of options in your price range. For reels, there a plenty of good quality performers, but get a lower gear ratio if you intend to use it for a wide variety of cranking situations. A 5.4 or so is good. As for names, you can't go wrong with a Lew's, Tatula, or Pflueger reel. As for rods, there is numerous options including the Veritas, BPS Crankin Sticks, Berkley EMotion, and Field and Stream Tech Spec rods. I would go with a medium power rod, and I'm usually target cranking so I prefer a shorter 6'6" rod, but a 7' is a good all around length.- Legged Frogs Vs Stringed Frogs
I've found legged frogs just aren't as good on my local waters. I'm usually not trying to immitate a frog as it is, so more. Action is the deal.- How Much Soft Plastic To Carry On The Banks?
I carry all of my plastics with me. I only keep a few bags of plastics as it is. I will tell you that plastics are the heaviest thin in your box, so if you want to get rid of weight, having less plastics will help.- I'm Becoming A Gear Head... Help!
Thank you all for your support! Looks like my extra spending $$ is pre destined so to speak.- Spybaiting
