  1. Havocs are a good price! I hear yum may be coming out with more stuff in that range as well. Also, my Gander Mountian has Big Bite Baits Cane Sticks for .99 a pack for 10-12 worms.
  2. Nope.. It's a 10 BB ProLite Special. I bought it about 6-7 months ago in store.
  3. Have you tried the Biffle Hard head before? I've never used a swinging head jig, so I'd be interested to hear what you think of after you fish with it.
  4. Have caught plenty of creek smallies wading in my area. I plan to get a little more serious about it this year myself. I'm looking at some cost effective waders to help keep warm/dry.
  5. They aren't always shallow. They are called 'Square Bills' to describe the flat shape of the bill, unlike a bait with a rounded bill.
  6. Called strolling and is perfectly legal by BASS rules. KVD does it all the time.
  7. Can you clarify what you mean by 'blood sport'? I'm not a huge hunter, just because I haven't found any good area around me for it, which I'll have to look into if there is any new public land around.. Just another reason i want my land/pond already!!!
  8. Welcome aboard sir! I dig the avatar (if its who I think it is lol). But for flipping, you want some heavy stuff.. IE 20-25#. If your going to battle in the thick of it that is...
  9. The manual says its DBS... The inner is 1-4 and is attached to the spool. The mag read 1-10 when they were there.
  10. Hart Tackle Makes a double wire bait.
  11. It would be interesting... I don't know if it would work in clear water or dirty water... Thump or sight... Hmmm. Because there is no flash...
  12. It's just the Opens. He is still fishing the Walmart FLW tour and the BASS Elite Series.
  13. Braid has Zero Stretch. Quite sensitive on a tight line. Fluoro is dense. Sensitive on slack line.. But braid would be 'more sensitive' if you had to say which one is...
  14. This is my ProLite. The inner breaks... And the mag, numbers have been wiped off. Let me know if it's different... I'd like to know.
  15. I had one, and it didn't really do a whole lot for me.. It could be my area, but I didn't prefer it to my other regular cranks. That's just me.
  16. I'll upload pics of my BPS ProLite Special when I get home.. It's the BPS dual braking, so I'm assuming their the same.
  17. The camper and yak would go hand in hand. Noting better than camping, headed out in the yak, and frying some fish up for dinner!
  18. Never used it. Suffix mono is OK in my opinion. Nothing worse, nothing better. Just OK
  19. I have 0 interest in Shimano anymore these days. I'll probably get sued for saying that, but its the truth.
  20. How much did you pay for it?
  21. Lets play nice. I think this is a good healthy discussion on something I'd never thought about before.
  22. I got the add in the mail yesterday.. It's gonna be fifty.
  23. I don't crank w/fluoro (personal preference thing) but I will be making long cast w/the jig.. Time will tell. I'll have to do some experimenting.
  24. Technically not a tow vehicle.. But the 2007 Toyota FJ w/aftermarket tires/wheels gets about 17. I'll have to see how it does with the yaks on top this year.
