Berkley Hollow Belly Swimbaits
I think they went out of production. There I a box with about 30 of them inside at my local tackle store

Mojo Rig
Heard Ike talk about it before... I guess its kind of a finesse take on the Carolina Rig... But how do I rig it, and where would I be useful? Thanks, Jakob

Bass Are Spawning What Do You Use?
I am going to try flipping tubes this year. I've also had minor success with wacky sticks like BBB cane stick in very clear water spawning conditions.

Crank Baits And Spinner Baits, Help!
I am also a fan of Terminators. In terms of setups I use this: Cranks 4.9 Gear Ratio Daiwa (Any 5.X Ratio Will Work) 6'6" Medium Lightning Rod (Any 6'6"-7' Medium will do fine, but I recommend a 6'6" if you are fishing from the bank) 12# Trilene XL Mono Spinnerbaits 6.4 Ratio Lew's (Any 6.X Reel will work) 6'6" Medium Heavy Lightning Rod (Any 6'6"-7' Medium Heavy will work) 12# Trilene XL Mono

Best Lures?
I really like a lot of the BPS XPS brand stuff. the 5 packs are a great value, especially on sale. Some recommend changing the hooks on them though. My favorites from them are the Squarebill Cranks, Lipless Cranks, and Jerkbaits. They also have good poppers, and I have heard the action on the XPS brand walking lures are amazing, and like I said, they are a great value.

Cheap But Effective Smallmouth Lures.
My local Gander Mt. store caries BBB Dean Rojas Cane Sticks for .99 a pack in assorted colors. Its about the only reason I go in there anymore. I really like them in my local smallie creek area. I use the BPS XPS Brand offset hooks, because for the price of a much smaller pack of name brand hooks, I can get 25 XPS brand hooks.

Polarized Sunglasses And Fish Finders
Same here. Also have trouble when using my phone when it has a plastic screen cover on it. Going to try glass screen cover and see if that makes a difference maybe?

What's This Bass Feeding On?
Where are you fishing at? Do you know what the main forage is in that area? Have you seen shad swimming around or crawfish on the water? These would definitely be good to know... but bass are opportunistic feeders so they will eat just about anything that they can fit in their mouth... So who knows.

Cold Snap Turning Fish Off?
Could depend on other water conditions. Just because the air is cooler doesn't mean the water temp has changed drastically. If the water temp has changed then they may just be in another area. It might be good to check the water clarity. If it is on the clear side a jerkbait is a great way to search for water with more active fish. After you've caught a few you could take time in this area and slow down with a small worm like a drop shot or a little worm on a split shot.

Central Indiana Clubs
I'd like to hook up with a club in my area possibly as well. I'm out on the West side (probably about a half hour west of IUPUI). I don't have a boat, so If there is a club I could join and fish from another's boat that would be nice. I'm also fixing to purchase a kayak so if they're are kayak anglers in the area that would also be cool.

Zeko "fishing" Shoes
This is true... But I also don't wear clothes I'd wear to school while I'm fishing... Just like I wouldn't wear my workout clothes to school. I keep them all separate and am thinking about buying a pair of Zekos myself.

Official Bank Walkers Topic!
I also fish small structured reservoirs. That and I wade a lot of creeks on summer nights. Even though the fish aren't as big there is usually no one there and its a great way to connect with friends and nature.... Which in the end is what its all about.

Bass Fishing For Beginners, Tips, Tricks, Gear,*secrets*,etc....
I recommend watching the bass fishing for beginners video series by Bassmaster. Here is a link to the first video. They are full of good tips for someone just starting out. My biggest tips are to stick with it because it's not always easy... That and to be versatile, adjust to the conditions. I'm not saying change lures a million times, but if your buddy is catching them on one lure and you're not catching anything, maybe its time to switch. Find a mentor if you can... My dad really helped me get into fishing.

Costa Del Mar
Dad has the Bombas in 580P Amber. He has the plastic ones because he wanted them to have readers on them. Otherwise, I would probably recommend the glass.

How Do You Tell The Difference
I've seen it on large female (I'm assuming because they look full of eggs) as well.

Catfish Combo?
Thanks for all the replies! I will be looking into the recommended rods the next time I get a chance to get to BPS or will see if I can find it or something I like at Gander Mt or another local store.

Catfish Combo?
I have an old Abu Ambassaduer (Late 70's/Early 80's) that belonged to my grandpop and is still around the house. I was thinking about attaching it to an Ugly Stik or something similar with some cheap mono for a Catfish combo.... What do you guys think? Should I go with a different rod or braid for more sensitivity?

Braid Test
Trying braid for the first time. I spooled up 50# SpiderWire Stealth Braid on a Lew's Tournament MB 7.3:1 attached to a 7' MH Berkley Lightning Rod Shock. I will use it for soft plastics and frogs mostly. Any tips for a first time braid user?
