I tie my line to a tree, and pull back LIGHTLY, like a 'reel set' deal. I want my drag to slip when the rod is fully loaded, because at that point, something's gotta give (hooks rip out, line snap, rod break, ECT.)

Probably not as "free" is because the Lew's may have too much grease/oil. They come wet from the factory, while the ABU comes dry.

That's what I've heard. I'm weary of it, because I plan on doing some heavy duty flipping/frogging. I'm also thinking about a Quantum Energy, but I'll try to get in store to feel them all. I'm interested to see how the JM Sig Series feels, I think it could hold up pretty good.

What do you mean? Single digit mortality rates?

Even with you Livewell treatments, and other Precautions, its been scientifically tested by InFisherman. That tournament live well fish have a delayed mortality (5 days later) upwards of 50%

Yeah, its one of those Special Buy things.. I think they are mostly produced in name only... With a few differences between models in limited quantities. They did make a combo, but the reel only had 7 bearings.

Doesn't make it not a squarebill.... It's like kindergarten Geometry... Every Square is a rectangle, but not every rectangle is a square... There are Shallow baits that are Squarebills... But not every Squarebill is shallow.
