Oregon got dealerships
You ever find a boat? There has been a lot of boats coming through Limit Out Marine that would have been in your price range. They go fast though. Last one sold in a few minutes.

How do I catch fish in Arizona
Biggens. people say its sketchy. be prepared for meth heads. I think it's fine. 33.38169802474933, -112.30260496501619 park in lot on left and walk down trail. Small fish 1-2 lbs with occasional larger. kind of a lame spot. 33.557071, -111.575727 - Anywhere along this trail and if you get nothing at least its very scenic. I'd go here if it were me. Has the most options to fish points, coves, flats, ledges etc all accessible from shore. lhttps://goo.gl/maps/tbzx26Lj3J2zQhXV8 -the most scenic. watch out for snakes. https://goo.gl/maps/9CY5fqdBT4RULeo99 I've caught plenty of biggs here. Double digit potential. - if you are up for an adventure and want smallmouth. I highly recommend going here however if the road has not been graded recently or if it just rained good luck. Parts of the road can be washed out and you will definitely need a vehicle with 4wd so make sure if you are using a rental to get a truck, jeep etc. This is the most scenic of all because you drive past all the other spots and through the mountains Even if you don't fish this the drive alone is worth it. https://goo.gl/maps/B2sfJZTYR1kMhN2Q7 -This lake has a ton of shore access but is a bit of a drive. I would get up early and make a day trip out of it taking either the highway there or the route via the previously mentioned lake which like i said is the most scenic but it is a dirt road that can get sketchy if you are just in a car. plenty of people do it in a car, i have but if you get stuck you are f#$*&! https://goo.gl/maps/Dmj9rFam8FATpn148 If you decide to take the highway here i'd highly recommend stopping at the arboretum https://www.btarboretum.org/ for a couple hours. much better than the botanical gardens in phoenix. maybe bring a lunch and visit here and then dive to roosevelt for the evening bite. Also there are plenty of dumb little ponds around that have bass. I wouldn't waste much time fishing Tempe town lake. not sure how many bass are left in there between algae blooms and them draining it completely dry not too many years ago. don't forget to stop at the gas station or grocery store and get the stupid pass you need to park at any of these areas.

Ned rig as drop shot weight.
Here in the PNW this is a good winter technique for deep smallmouth. We use football jigs though.

Spike It vs. JJ's Magic
JJ's for the jarred stuff, and spike it markers when i'm feeling lazy. Use a few other scents too. JJ's comes in a clear for when you don't want to dye but want a real strong scent.

Savage Gear The "Bat"
Got a black one. Went to a pond where I had seen them eating bats in the evening. I threw it out and it got smoked by an 8-10lber. Broke off about 2' from getting it in.

Anyone Use A Lure Retriever?
I have a telescopic that extends to like 26' or something like that. Then I have the Daiwa lure retriever and the Jewel Hound Dog. One of them almost always gets my bait back.

Blade Bait Rod?
3/8oz.+ baits get Medium Fast 7' Baitcaster. 20Lb braid. 10-15 Fluoro leader Sub 3/8oz get medium 7'4" Spinning Rod. 15 braid. 6-10 Fluoro leader never had an issue with this setup.

Lbs of drag?
Doing all this fancy tying weight using scales etc is too much for me. I change my drag often throughout the day so this wouldn't work. You can just adjust it to whatever feels best for the bait and conditions at that given moment. You will quickly learn if it was too much or not enough when that fish gets off. This is the way. IMO.

CB Blank Suggestions...
Thanks to the dude above. Ok so I decided on which blank to build on. Sort of. I decided to buy two blanks. A little nervous about this since they are lower cost. I really want to try the MHX and the Bushido too. Maybe those will be next since I want to build a couple new squarebill rods and get rid of my KVD squarebill rods which I can not stand. Micro guides and short rear grips are not my thing I've come to learn. Shopping cart Product image Description Quantity Price 1 Fiberglass Series - SG79MMBlank Color Options: Natural Finish (No Color) 1 $59.00 1 Fiberglass Series - SG79MHMBlank Color Options: Natural Finish (No Color) 1 $66.00

CB Blank Suggestions...
Ok I am thinking 1 of 3 for bombing 3/8-1/2oz maybe 3/4 oz crankbaits. I have only build one other casting rod and one other spinning. The casting was a Judge Crankbait rod which is amazing! I can jack them smallies on 10xd's and power crank em in to the boat and flip em in. they don't get off. In case it matters, I crank with braid to fluoro leader and that will not change because it has always worked great for me. I don't want to spend another 150+ for a blank. So I am looking at the three following blanks: Rod Geeks SG79MM AT Bushido CB78/8-15 MHX CB903-Blend I am guessing the Rod geeks may be the closest to the judge. the judge seems to be about 50% s-glass 50% carbon. I dont know the exact portions but that is what it appears to be to me. Anyone with any experience with these let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

Suck at the alberto knot...Options?
It's literally the easiest knot to tie. Sorry. You just gotta practice. If you are not getting it within the first try or two you are doing something wrong. watch some youtube videos. I will note that if you are doing braid to mono or copoly the Alberto can be a bit tricky. Go a little slower when cinching the knot tight as that softer line tends to make a sloppy knot if you are not careful.

Big bass broke my rod WHERE?
I break probably 2-4 rods a year. No biggie. It happens. Manufacturer defect maybe, damaged by owner likely. Either way see if you can get a new one. I have broken rods in many different ways from hook sets, casting, being dumb, scratching the blank and having it snap where the scratch was, stepping on the rod and thinking it's fine until a couple months later it shatters on a hook set....

What To Do If I Catch A Record Breaking Bass?
For myself I would just freak out, snap a pic and drop it back in the drink. I'm not going to risk stressing it out or killing it just to get some certified record. Now if you are somewhere with a certified scale in boat and can do everything you need to do to get the record then by all means do it but I'd still just drop it back in and move on.

Do you fish tournaments? (POLL)
I don't know that I would fish if tournaments didn't exist. I fish everything I can afford to fish which is not much with my wife just getting out of grad school and being stuck in an unpaid internship. Nothing like paying for a mortgage in the Seattle area... 2nd year fishing as a boater. I fish in my local club and usually do well as a boater but no first yet. Second is the closest. I love the big bass events. So much fun. Chance to win money every hour and then overall. This style gets me super hyped up. Now I just need to stop catching the biggens during practice and I'll do alright. I have fished some ABA stuff but it draws just a few boats and is expensive so it's mostly for bragging rights IMO We have a bracket style event here that I was supposed to fish in this winter but uh the Ultrex broke again.... I am thinking about joining another club to fish their stuff and do some BASS Qualifiers. I fish what charity events pop up on Lake Washington. They tend to draw a good crown 30-60 depending on the weather. I fished the WON Bass Open on Havasu last year. Got it handed to me. Way down in the pack. I had a plan and I shoulda stuck with it. I spun out and fished what looked familiar. The event was won doing what I had originally planned to do. Practice was ruined by 6-8'ers so if ya didn't know the lake that well ( I had only fished it as a co in FLW and WWBT events) then you were not going to do well. This year keeping it local fishing as many PNW fisheries as possible before I move back to California and hopefully next year back to fishing some WON, WWBT, and FLW stuff if I can afford it. It's a lot of driving being up in the PNW it takes like 24 hours to get to Havasu. That's a lot of gas money. My first ever tournament was a Red Man on the Mississippi River in LaCrosse. I loved that. Got my limit on a 3/8 BPS sapphire blue jig with a sapphire blue chunk. Can't wait to some day go back and fish an BASS Open or something on the Mississippi.

Jerkbait rod for certain bait
The different line will most certainly affect diving depth. To get maximum diving depth you should be using fluoro or braid to fluoro leader (my preferred method). I also would stick to a rod under 7'. Maybe invest in a jerkbait specific rod.

Daiwa Steez A deep crank?
Any 6.3 will be fine for deep cranks. I typically use 5.3 for the big deep stuff just because I feel like I get more bites. I use 6.3 for shallower cranks. I have thrown mag deep cranks on 7.3 before and caught fish and had no problems.

Best line on Amazon?
Cheap fluoro will be a waste of time and cause for a lot of frustration, maybe some swearing and so forth. Trick thats not a trick.... Everyone can get Suffix at 50% off all year! All you have to do is be a member of Bass University and you get access to Suffix at a huge discount. I don't know why more people don't take advantage of this. You also get a 40% discount on Flambeau and deals on other stuff as well. It blows my ind theres people out there payin full price for Rapala, VMC, Storm, Suffix etc when it can be had for 50% off. The Sufix Advance Fluorocarbon is good line. Casts well, abrasion resistant... I've been using it exclusively for the past year and never have I had an issue. I can't say the same for other name brands.
